Fewer people are practicing it publicly than ever before, but it doesn't mean Christianity is dying out. It only means that the practice of Christianity is changing. Christianity may be less formal than it used to be, but Christianity isn't dying. Latin is still studied in schools, and Latin derivatives are used daily. People still continue to wear crosses, read the Bible, and go to church so Christianity isn't dying out by far. Christianity is also far more important than any language out there.

There are still Christian shows on TV, Christian stations on the radio, Christian artists, Christian concerts, Christian movies, Christian stores, which aren't going anywhere. We still celebrate Christian holidays every year and celebrate the life of Christ on Christmas and celebrate his resurrection on Easter. Even Chick-fil-A is a Christian restaurant that continues to be closed on Sundays. Fewer people may be going to church in the U.S. than ever before, but you don't need to attend church to be a Christian.
There are many denominations of Christians including Lutherans, Episcopalians, Evangelicals, Baptists, and even Catholics. Are all these denominations ever going to die out? The answer is an obvious no. These denominations can be found all over the world. Italy for example has always been a Catholic country and will always continue to be a Catholic country. Christianity may be dying out a little in the U.S., but there are millions of Christians out there all over the world.
Christianity will always have followers, and will always be preserved as a documented part of history. People may believe Christianity is dying out due to circumstantial evidence, but God won't let Christianity ever die out. God isn't going anywhere and neither is Christianity. There may be a religious slump right now, but that doesn't mean that religion is going to completely go away. Christianity is the most popular religion in the world, and millions of people continue to observe Christian holidays all over the world. If the number one religion in the world is dying out, what's going to happen to the rest of the religions out there?
