Is Your Computure Running Slow?

Every windows computer that runs slow can trace the problem back to one thing and that thing is the registry. This is the library or database for windows. Every time windows needs to run a program or use any devices it looks at the registry to find out how to do so.

Once corruption or errors creep into the registry your computer will slow down, be slow to start up and eventually if the problems are not fixed one day you will switch on the computer to a bank screen saying windows cannot start because a file is missing or damaged.

Most registry errors are not even noticeable to you, but they slow down windows and if you think it is taking longer to start then there is a problem and this is why you need to fix a slow running computer.

If you see warning messages reporting memory errors or registry errors do not ignore them. It is only when the errors and corruption get quite serious you will see these messages reported and it is time to fix them.

This is what you need to do to fix your slow running computer.

#1 Remove any programs you are not using. This means any old programs and especially free ones you get in magazines. Having too many programs installed on your pc not only takes up space but uses memory, even when they are not running.

#2 Defragment your hard drive with the windows disk defragmenter program. This takes all the program files and puts them in order. This speeds up the computer and stops corruption occurring when program files are spread all over the hard disk.

#3 Run a free registry scan. This will report any windows file errors and registry errors, it will also uncover anything in the registry that should not be there and fix the problems at the click of a button.
