It is good to address the realness of God on an academic level only because people who try to disprove the existence of God are coming from an academic standpoint. For instance, Darwinism is in no way a religion. It is strictly an academic philosophy.
First, however, if a person asks themselves some questions about what they see outside, he or she might begin answering the, " Is God real" question.
One should first observe just a few things about nature and ask the following questions.
How did so many different colors get in a rainbow?
How is it that the clouds appear to move in the sky?
Why is the sky blue, the clouds white, the ends of the clouds feathery?
Why is the grass green and what makes it dewy-fresh in the morning?
What are atoms?
What are particles and how did these things come about?
If God isn't real, these things just happened.
There's the Big bang theory , which is the dominant scientific theory. It says that the earth was created from a big cosmic explosion that threw matter in all different kinds of directions. Darwinism postulates that things evolved. We as people evolved. The world evolved.
But if God is real, one spirit, God, used his creative energies to put the world together. One spirit made humans have the ability to think about all different kinds of theories and come up with musical melodies, but If Darwinism and the Big Bang are true, all the credit is given to happenstance.
But what about the artifacts that have been discovered that give us proof of what happened in the Bible?
The Dead Sea scrolls have been named the greatest manuscript discovery of these present times. Discovered between 1947 and 1956 in eleven caves along the northwest shore of the Dead Sea, the scrolls contain fragments of every book in the Old Testament except for Ester. There are 30 fragments from Psalms. There are 25 fragments from Deuteronomy and the book of Isaiah scroll is about 1,000 years older than the oldest previously owned version. These scrolls date back to 100-200 BC. The texts are made of animal skins, but also papyrus. One is made of copper.
Also in 1961, archaeologist found a plaque fragment at Caesarea Maritima. Maritima is a roman city that is ancient. It's located along the Mediterranean coast of Israel. Written in Latin, the plaque was inside a section of steps that went up to the amphitheatre of Caesarea. The plaque reads: "Pontius Pilatus, Prefect of Judea..." In the Bible, Pontius Pilate played a key role in the trial of Jesus found in the New Testament.
Speaking of the Bible, there is one more artifact that seems to prove the existence of God, and that is the heel bone that was discovered in a young criminal's grave in 1968. The heel bone had an iron nail in it which links up with the description of crucifixion found in the Bible. Pieces of the wooden board were still attached to one end.
So is God real? Well, if a person were to look at the archaeological evidence, it would seem that there is undeniable proof that the Bible is real. Since the Bible is God's word, God must then be real, right?
However, there are still others that say that the Bible and God are not real, and those people may be of the same type that would say that no one walked on the moon. There are videos of people walking and artifacts that have been left. Yet people still say no. What can we say to that?
The proof will always be there when you want to look for it.

Post a CommentHmm, Well... I don't know what to make of The Bible. It has been translated, re-written and edited over the past 2000 years. Due to this corruption, i dont know what i can and cant believe out of its teachings. However, i do believe in God. All the different factors that allude to our existence and life on this planet are extraordinarily diverse. The odds of everything as we know it to come into existence by "chance" is almost infinite. I liked the article very much :) You should check some of my stuff out.
I know people walked on the moon--in fact, we already have a base there that our government is keeping secret from us, but even though relics have been found from the time of the Bible, that doesn't prove God exists. The Bible is NOT the word of God--it's a fantasy spun by people to control other people. I like to think of it as the oldest known piece of science fiction ever written.
