Is He into You?

The most frustrating time in a woman's life usually comes at about the same time she meets a guy she really likes. Women all over the country have their best friends programmed into their speed dials in order to solicit help from the knowledgeable women who always seem to know whether or not their latest crush is crushing back. Most of human communication is non-verbal. Women and men unconsciously send out signals letting the opposite sex know whether or not they are interested. Once you learn a few clues to male body language, you'll know whether or not you can or should make a move on your perspective boy-toy.

You Notice Him Checking You Out: Men check out every woman they see, even if they don't think the girl is particularly attractive. However, if he lets you see him giving you a full body inspection, he's also letting you know that he finds you attractive.

He Runs a Hand through His Hair: A man running a hand through his hair is a form of preening. Yes, you heard me right, men preen too. When a man runs a hand through his hair, he is unconsciously trying to make him self look as attractive as possible.

He raises his eyebrows when you talk: A man raises an eyebrow when he finds something very interesting. If he raises his eyebrows every time you talk, that means he finds you very interesting.

Hands on His Hips: A man placing one or both hands on his hips is another preening gesture. By placing his hands on his hips, a man is trying to inflate himself and look bigger. Also by placing his hands on his hips he is unconsciously (hopefully) trying to get you to look at his favorite...ahem...equipment.

His Whole Body Faces You: When a man is attracted to a woman, he will want to monopolize her attentions. An interested man will position himself directly in front of you to exclude other potential suitors and attract your interest.

He Looks You in the Eye: This is the easiest non-verbal clue to whether or not a man has interest in you as a partner. If you've ever spoken to a guy who is not interested in you, you know that their eyes tend to wander... a lot. A man who makes direct eye contact is definitely into you. Also if the man is constantly looking from your eyes to your lips, he is thinking about kissing you.

He Tilts His Head to One Side: When children want something, they always tilt their head to one side. Men, eternally children at heart, also cock their heads to one side when they are craving affection. If a man tilts his head to one side while standing close to you, there is probably a kiss in your future.
