Identity theft is a growing issue in the US. In his book, "Stealing Your Life", Frank Abagnale reported that in 2005, "Card Systems Solutions, a big credit card payment processor, said that computer hackers may have compromised the personal data of more than 40 million card holders." While we think our identity is protected by large company security systems, the hackers are working hard to break through the barriers to steal information. Instances like these have caused companies to take computer security more seriously.

Fortinet, a local Sunnyvale, CA company addresses the increasing challenges companies like Card Systems Solutions face "in growing their firewall deployments to meet their evolving network security needs," according to a press release for Fortinet. Guest speaker Chris Christiansen, program vice president of security products and services at IDC, and Patrick Bedwell, vice president of product marketing at Fortinet will address these threat issues and discuss how security companies are keeping up. Anyone in charge of security administration, or senior-level IT decision-makers should consider attending this free webinar, "The Evolution of the Enterprise Firewall." Scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, at 10 a.m. ET.
