Is Juice Fasting Good for You?

Well, I think so. I have tried may times ans see no side effect except for some "hungriess" after a few days. But you may be wondering what is juice fasting?

It is simple you just "eat" juice for a while. It can be for one day, a week, or more. I I were new to this I will do it for a day first, then wait some time and increase the juice fasting period progressively. I have done it for 5 days at the most. Some people believes that a 3-day juice fasting per month is an excellent way to give a boost at to your health. Juice fasting once a month is said to allow your cells and tissues to cleanse, nourish and heal themselves.

Basically, juice fasting is a detox technique. Drinking juice is easy in your digestive system, stabilizes your sugar blood level and supplied my nutrients that you may not getting with your food. Remember that it is recommended to eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per day! Are you eating that much vegetable and fruits???

Juice fasting provides the body with selenium, magnesium, calcium, and many other minerals as well plenty of vitamin C, flavonoids, and many other antioxidants.

How often to juice fast?

So, how often should we detoxify our cells, tissues and body with the technique of juice fasting? As with things many have opinions the differ. A regular person, with no diseases should probably do a three-day juice detox every month. This is what some juice fasting advocates say. Please ask your doctor if you are going to try this. I do it once a month for 2 days but have done even a 5 day juice fasting in the past.

What are the health benefits of Juice Fasting

Well, according to the sources, juice fasting can have the following health benefits:

-Help with weight loss (this is nice I always loose a couple of pound when juice fasting, but then regained them)

-help to deal with chronic sinus and mucus congestion

-Alleviate and some times eliminate headaches

-Help with your sleeping issues

-Alleviate your constipation problems

-Help with allergies

-Alleviate or even eliminate acne

-Eliminate bloating and gas
