Is Lindsay Lohan's Upcoming Felony Grand Theft Charge the Last Straw?
Lohan Faces Her Most Serious Threat to Her Career
What will the charge mean? It means her ticket to jail is closer to reality. Lohan is due in court for an arraignment on Wednesday afternoon. She is currently on probation for her 2007 drunken driving case. Judge Elden Fox warned Lohan she would visit a jail cell for six months if she got in trouble again. A felony grand theft charge is trouble.
Although the drug and alcohol news for Lindsay Lohan hasn't been much of a surprise for some, being accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace is a different story. It seemed to come out of nowhere. If Lohan, out after serving her 90 days at Betty Ford, can afford to rent a swanky apartment in Venice, California, why steal a necklace?
The case of child celebrities who get into trouble seems to be most severe with Lohan. She is the poster child for "troubled child star." A child star, turned adult, who has not gotten into trouble, such as Natalie Portman, is a refreshing change from the likes of a Lindsay Lohan or a Tatum O'Neal or a Corey Haim.
