So if you're overweight, what can you do about it? Of course we all know that exercise will help a lot not only to lose weight but also for us to have an active lifestyle. The ideal duration of exercise for a day is 1-2 hours but of course it already includes short breaks/rests. Eating healthy and nutritional food will also help specially for our health but always remember that the main element is the quantity of food being taken by a human being. They say that being a vegetarian is a good way to lose weight, yes it is really true but only one thing, if you are a vegetarian, you must also eat fish and meat occasionally because there are some nutrients that only fish and meat can provide. The next one would be drinking at least 8 glasses of water because it will surely help your digestion and will also cleanse your intestines.
Let's imagine that our digestive system is the blender and we put avocado in it because we want to make an avocado shake, what if we turned on the blender without putting water in it, what do you think will happen? The blender will have a hard time grinding the avocado into fine particles but if we put water, the grinding would be easier. In that example, we can prove that water really helps our digestion. If you are overweight and wanted to lose weight, instead of drinking 8 or more glasses of cold water, it would be better if you will drink tap water or hot water because it is more ideal if you want to lose weight. When we are exercising, the temperature of our body is rising because calories are burned to give us more energy, so if we drink cold water, what will happen is that the body temperature would be lessen and burning of calories would be slowed down. The next thing that you can do to lose weight is to have plenty of sleep. For kids, it is ideal to have 8-10 hours of sleep and for adults, it is 8-6 hours. Enough sleep will help us to gain energy, relax our mind and good complexion but more importantly, when we are asleep, we will not search for food to eat because we can't even feel that we are hungry.
What would be the benefits of losing weight? There are a lot of benefits such as having better immune system that will prevent sickness, having better stamina, having more active mind, having a lighter body that will help us to move more freely and faster, having a good body built, having a lot of clothes to choose with and lastly, we will have better looks. So what are you waiting for? Start losing weight today and gain the benefits that it may bring to your life.
