Is Love the Key to Happiness?

"Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; FOR GOD IS LOVE. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." (1 Jon 4:7)

Love is the key to happiness. In the circle of life, we each revolve around the creator. The stronger the love, the tighter the bond.

We did not choose God, He chose us, filling us with love. Sharing this love is the key to happiness. We are all entwined and love is the glue that binds us together.

God granted our capacity to love the moment we were born into this world, shaping our emotions, bonding our spirits together with his. As we mature, we realize the desire to love others around us in different ways, as love comes in many forms. And since God is spirit, we must learn to worship Him in spirit.

"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he." (John 4:23)

We were created in the image of God. We are all family.

If you doubt this, imagine being separated from the whole human race, being thrown into a society of nonhuman beings. They don't walk upright on two legs. They don't eat or drink, in the normal sense. They don't laugh or cry or show any kind of human emotion.

Living among those not human, you would be overwhelmed with emotion at the sight of another human being and would realize how much love you truly feel for those of your own kind. We are all related in a sense and tend to lose sight of the love we have for one another.

Love (God) is the natural energy of our being. A potent force, joining us, emanating from within each of us. Sharing love strengthens the bond. Withholding love loosens the link, separating us from God and those with which we truly belong.

There is a child in each and every one of us. If you can develop the ability to look past the shortcomings of a person to the child within, you will see the fragile innocence of someone who means no harm to anyone. We are still under the curse and things aren't what they appear to be.

God loves us.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:16)

When you feel love for someone, it shows. When someone shows love for you, it's only natural to feel love for them.
