Is Man a Creation of God, or is God a Creation of Man?

Who Created Who?

Kevin Lamb
Man's perception of God is a belief that has been changed and misconstrued since the dawn of time. Centuries before Christ, men scribbled on the walls of caves and palaces drawing their perceptions of God.

If God is given the name of our creator, then of course we came from God, we came from somewhere. Everyone who reads this is a god of a sort, and has created something in their life. Whether it was a child, or even just a thought, everyone has the power of creation.

The Bible and man have definitely played a part in creating God in his own image. If we went to Mars and tera-formed the planet we would be considered a god to our creation. Our child and some of our pets (our dogs) look to us as gods. But when it comes down to the real nitty-gritty something created us. We didn't just happen by accident.

The Vastness of God

Time and space are the truest forms of infinity. The infinite reaches of space can't be measured by any astronomer's maps or scientists calculations. No one knows exactly of its ending or its beginning. The original creation of the universe as some call "the big bang" supposedly created everything in the known universe. So, what created the big bang? Was this God creating or just a movement of space and time?

Is there only one God, or are there several of them? Now, when I'm talking about God I'm referring to gods which create: worlds, dimensions, and galaxies. Are there big Gs, and little gs: big Gods and little gods? The lineage of man could take several articles to thoroughly discuss, but I'll try to give my opinion in one article.

Creation

A movement is what created the universe. The movement of: a spirit, a form, an entity, or what ever you want to call it, a movement is what created what scientists call the big bang.

Trillions of years passed and new worlds began to form as gravity took its affect. Livable planets and worlds were formed that were at a life sustaining distance from their orbiting Suns. Different types of microbial life began to form from the depths of the seas. With millions of years of evolution this life mutated and changed its form from sea life, to life which survived on the land.

Time and the molecular structure of life itself began to develop from the seas as generations of life changed and adapted to its world. When the first world mutated into a sentient (thinking and reasoning) form of life, they looked to the stars.

Seeding the Universe

If this sentient race was not overwhelmed when they harnessed the atom, they went to the stars and proliferated and spread their seeds of life. Comets and asteroids have also been stated as harbingers of life. In any case life began to grow in our universe, and also our galaxy.

How mankind (the people of Earth) became to be is mentioned briefly in Genesis chapter six; verse two in the Bible. The "sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose."

Are these "sons of God" travelers from another planet? When the sons of God mated with the women, they created a race of ravenous giants (the Nefilim) which devoured mankind and the Earth; this is what supposedly caused the great flood in the Bible. God had been ashamed of mankind and decided to destroy it by the flood. Could God himself not control the "sons of God?"

This I believe is passing the seed of mankind. I think worlds thousands of times our superior have always seeded the universe just as it states in the movie "Contact." If you call someone who created a God, then of course we were definitely created by a god.

The Big G

Whether we're in communication with the original God or not, the answer to this matter lies in each individual's heart and soul. To believe in a God is the same belief of whether or not we have a soul. This is for each person to decide. Anyone who spent time reading this article believes in something. Maybe we're not meant to know all of the answers in life.

My quick answer to this question is that we were created by something. Man and God both played a part in the creation. Man created God in his image, and God helped to create us in whatever image that suited its purpose.

This third dimensional life is all about finding the answers to the questions which burdens your soul. How we answer these questions (in the mind) is what the soul is all about. However, sometimes it's not just the answers we receive that matters, but the questions we ask that's important.

I believe the three most asked questions in some minds these days are: who are we, how did we get here, and where do we go from here? If anyone could provide the actual answers to these questions, it would probably rock the foundation of modern religion. Just be careful, what you believe in your mind when you leave this world plays a definite part in where you go next.
