Is it Me, or Does FOX "News" Personality Megyn Kelly Read Copy like Captain Kirk?

Jeff Musall
If you are fact-challenged enough to consider FOX to be your news source, or if, like me, you stop by once in awhile to marvel at what is just a slickly produced propaganda machine, you have probably seen "America Live With Megyn Kelly."

While it could be easy to dismiss Kelly as just another FOX skirt, paid to spread the propaganda and look good, she does sometimes actually report news. Of course, it's peppered with attacks on liberals and progressives and not really to be considered a good news source, but at least she's not "FOX and Friends."

What is fun to watch is her animated body action and how it matches her vocal inflection. The closest comparison coming to mind is James Tiberius Kirk - if he were to be on FOX.

The halting speech, the raised inflection with odd timing, it's part of the mystique of Captain Kirk. If you listen to Kelly without looking at her, the similarities are uncanny.

"They seem to be......not on the same page....on this message."

"But Uncle Sam....has a controversial plan of it's own....now...to identify illegal immigrants..."

"President Obama....setting down with the ladies of the view!.....but will it...actually improve his standing...with women voters..."

Megyn Kelly.

"We will pivot...at warp 2....bring all tubes to bear."

"What it needs in order to evolve... is a human quality. Our capacity to leap beyond... logic."

"Khan!!!"

Captain Kirk.

Listen to them both - could they be opposite sex doppelgangers?

Of course, Kirk was entertainment and fun, Kelly helps spread FOX propaganda. So although the comparison is close enough to make you laugh, it shouldn't mislead you into thinking you get anything close to "Fair and Balanced" at FOX.

I have given up on TV for news. Love the Kirk comparison! But isn't that what all anchor people are; puppets actors?

Wonder if the folks at Fox actually believe the drivel they're spewing?

I guess I can see that a bit. But I don't watch a whole lot of Fox News. Usually only when at the doctor's office, the airport, or while being tortured by a masochistic dentist asking "Is it safe?"
