Female child stars are not sweet an innocent forever. At some point, they rebel, and occasionally show a little skin. Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, Christina Aguilera, and Lindsay Lohan are former teen stars who have worked hard to shed their squeaky clean image. Some have had success with their image change, while others have experienced struggle. Miley Cyrus is the latest young starlet to sex it up.

Miley Cyrus' photo spread in Vanity Fair, along with revealing photos taking with her boyfriend are currently causing uproar! Disney's biggest star is facing some challenges. After of record breaking year, this is the last thing Disney wants. Miley is Disney's current cash cow. She is making then millions of dollars from merchandising, albums, tours, a TV show, and a movie. Disney better keep their pimp hand strong and make sure this little girl doesn't grow up before they are done exploiting her. If they cant get her to maintain her wholesomeness, they will have to create another sugary perfect starlet for young girls to idolize.

The Vanity Fair images are very tasteful, and the private images are classic MySpace shots. Miley is not as much harm as people think she is. It's not like she has released a sex tape yet! Other people her age take pictures like hers all the time. 15 year olds plaster revealing photos on Facebook and MySpace on a regular basis. They would do this regardless of Miley's influence. Young women, like Miley, should not exploit themselves sexually, but they shouldn't be blamed for something that is not their fault. She is a young girl; she wants to experiment.

Teenage girls make mistakes. She does not have an obligation to any of her fans. She is only human. Parents don't really have the right to be outraged with Miley. At the end of the day, they are the biggest influence on their child's life. Being a role model should not be in a pop star's job description.

Miley Cyrus will most likely continue to push the limit. She is growing up. Teenagers love breaking the rules. Besides that, sex sells. Little Miss Hannah Montana will drop the good girl image just like people before her did. Hopefully she maintains her dignity. Hannah Montana should wait a couple more years before she exploits herself sexually. She should completely avoid the drugs, alcohol, and crotch flashing. The world is not ready for another Britney Spears.
