What is it?
This online lottery based game is free to join, play, and win real cash. The Web site requires basic information at sign-up which includes your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. Once an account is created you are rewarded with 1,000 starter points.

Why play?
The objective of the game is to win points or promotional prices in exchange for real cash and/or gift cards to some great stores and restaurants. A gift card can be requested after winning 25,000 points. If you win a promotional prize you can request a check. The request is processed immediately and generally takes 30 to 60 days to receive the prize.

How to play?
You begin to pick four double-digit numbers and one single-digit number that is a bonus ball. You may either pick your own numbers or select "Quick Pick" to have a computer randomly generates numbers. Once the numbers are selected you click "Win" which then tells you whether you have won any points. You have the chance to win 10, 25, 100, 500, or 5,000 points each round. You may also win a $25, $250, $50,000 promotional prizes. The jackpot is also at grabs to win and currently at over $1 million dollars.

How realistic is it?
You start off with 1,000 points so you only need 24,000 more to win your first gift card. It took me two weeks of playing on-and-off to reach 25,000 points. Not bad for a $25 free gift card! I'm currently halfway to me second 25,000 points and it's only been one week. Sometimes you get lucky and win a promotional prize. I've never won one yet, but my boyfriend did, so it is possible. Some people don't have the patience to sit there and play the game, but if you have the time and want to try, it is a realistic way of earning cash!

Better ways to win?
Playing Net Winner on a regular basis obviously helps you accumulate more points. I've noticed if I sit here working on other online tasks and just keep a tab open at Net Winner and occasionally pick my numbers and hit win, it doesn't seem to be such a drawn out task. You can also earn more points by referring friends and family members. You receive 500 points for referring each person after they play 100 times. There are also promotions and contests to win more points in the community section.

Overall rating?
I really love this game. It's fun and the fact I'm winning money from it is even better. I warn you though - it is very addicting! So far out of all the online games I've played that state you can really earn money, Net Winner is the only one that really worked for me. So why not give it a try?
