Is Noah Cyrus Too Young to Design Clothes for Children?

Mary Thatcher
Noah Cyrus is the nine year old sister of Miley Cyrus, yet she has started a new fashion line for girls her own age. Now ordinarily there would be nothing wrong with that, as she does come from a privileges family and has the resources and contacts to do so. The problem is this: she is designing lingerie that would be better suited for a 20 year old woman, not a little girl.

CelebrityFix reports the youngest Cyrus girl launching her new clothing line. Objectifying little girls has been a problem in our society for a few decades now, though pedophiles have not been complaining. Most of the complaints come from parents who do not want their daughters trying to follow Hollywood female role "models" when it comes to clothing choice, and for a good reason. Children do not need to be burdened with sexuality and sexual appeal but how can parents who insist on having their kids exposed to the media handle this problem? Moreover, where is Billy Ray Cyrus, Noah's father, plus her mother? Have her parents lost their minds in allowing their young daughter to create clothes children should not be wearing?

The lingerie that Noah has created would look better in a Victoria's Secret store. Colors like black and pink dominate her collection, along with bows, lacing and ruffles. Bows and ruffles are cute for little girls, but on proper dresses, not racy lingerie. When Noah models her lingerie, she also wears full makeup: red lipstick, mascara and liner. Well, it appears her parents are not doing their job of parenting, and she puts herself in the position of being lashed out against by parents who do have common sense when it comes to children's clothing.

Noah Cyrus is nowhere near ready to be a woman, and her business partner Emily Grace, also 9 years old, is not ready for that social status, either. At 42 years old, even I never wore clothing like that, outside or underneath. Our society has fallen apart when children like Noah Cyrus has contributed to the problem, not the solution, of female role models. Once again, where are her parents?

Maybe instead of trying to imitate her older sister and other female stars like Jamie Lynn and Brittany Spears, she should stick to a real goal, such as becoming a writer or doctor. That would be a far better role model for young girls. That would be much better than having her fans dress up like underage hookers.
