Is Now the Time

Roni ODonnell
When I'm gone will they stand and say
how great she was.
All the way.

Will they cry and look at me
as I lay
in my coffin, my home to stay.

In life I tried. I did my best
to be upfront.
Better than most

People you know don't like the truth.
It's easier to lie and show uncouth.

If life were really how we thought
it would be fantasy
never sought

So when you look at me laying there
Don't make up lies as if you care

Remember when someones standing there
that's the real time to truly care
That's the real time to truly share.

It's a shame that people don't live their lives with clear priorities! It's not until someone is dying or passed that we consider what they really mean to us.
