As I look over the laws that Obama and this Congress have passed I cannot help but ask myself if Democrats are gambling on lazy people. Democrats have always been somewhat known for being the more generous party when it comes to handouts and welfare and Obama has left no doubt where he stands regarding these issues, but I cannot help but wonder if Democrats are putting to much hope in lazy people who will accept any handout the government gives them. Don't get me wrong, not all people on welfare are lazy. Some rich people are lazy. The answer to my question will present itself during the late hours of 4 November 2010. Will the middle class and conservatives be organized and energized enough to dramatically change the balance of power in Washington D.C.? Or will those who love the handouts that Obama and this Congress seem so willing to give show up in an effort to keep the freebies coming for years to come? Should be fun.
