Let me just say that Dana White is one smart man. He has probably the most crude vocabulary I've heard before, but I still love that man! I can't even remember what season we're on now but however many seasons ago he started the reality show UFC. Now we all love reality shows, right? Even me being a girl thought it looked interesting and so I tuned in with my husband to that first show that very first season. I was hooked. All it took was one show. After that first season I could tell you the fighters names and who was good at what and who was my favorite. Then we started following all the fights and the PPV's that were on. Didn't want to miss out on seeing if my favorite guy might win that night!
I am so bad that I seriously can't wait for the next season to start. I think I've probably only missed a handful or less of the shows since they started. I just love it. It really gives you a chance to get to know the guys. I think one of the things I really love about the reality show is you get a chance to really get to see what the coaches are like. Sure you see them fighting and hear them giving interviews, but until they have all that TV time you really don't know much about them.
Another thing I find odd is that the best fights are the bloody fights. I'm have no fascination with blood whatsoever. However, I do like to see a good fight. The bloodier the better in my opinion. I'm sure that sounds very gross to most of you. I'd rather watch a slugging match with busted up eyes and lips then two guys moving around like turtles. Nothing bothers me more then to watch a fight where the guys barely move at all. And the ones where they get large gashes on their heads and they bleed a lot are fun to watch. I've seen guys fight with blood literally pouring from their heads before. It didn't stop them at all. I love to see that they have so much heart that no matter how bad they are hurt the keep going. And I know that doesn't sound normal, but it's rather entertaining to watch.
So for all you guys who love UFC, I'm right there with ya. And for the ladies...if you ever see it just take a few minutes and watch it. You might be amazed at how entertaining it really is!
