This is teh definistion of organic food by the USDA: "organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation." Why is Organic Food Better for babies?

Recently, The European Union presented the results of research that showed that suggest that certain organic fruits, vegetables, and milk may be more nutritious and that organic foods have more antioxidants than non-organic food. The study is available online here.

One thisng with USDA certified organic foods is that they are free of genetically modified (GM) organisms. Some research suggests that GM may trigger allergic reactions. Also, there are no studies about the long-term effect of GM foods. So I thisn is good ideas not to give GM foods to our little kids. f your baby's diet.

In 1995 the EWG report found that "sixteen pesticides were detected in the 8 baby foods tested, including three probable human carcinogens, five possible human carcinogens, eight neurotoxins, five pesticides that disrupt the normal functioning of the hormone system, and five pesticides that are categorized as oral toxicity category one, the most toxic designation." WHY ARE YOU GOING T O FEED THESE HARMFUL COMPOUND TO YOUR KID IF YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE CHOICE?

The same group did a 2007 research and found that apples, cherries, celery, imported grapes, lettuce, nectarines, strawberries, sweet bell peppers, peaches, pears, spinach, and potatoes were the vegetables and fruits with thehighest pesticides content. So avoid them for your baby.

To make the story short, organic food represent a haealthy alternative for baby feeding. You are at least doing your part, as a parent, of protecting them in their early stages of development. Giving organic food to your baby is one of many ways you can keep potentially harmful substances out of your baby's body.
