THE ACCUSATIONS
For a while now, other artists have been saying that 50 Cents along with his crew are gay or at least bi-sexual. It all started with his sidekick, Lloyd Banks. According to Internet sites like Killer Movies, Lloyd Banks is actually 6 years older than he claims to be and shot a ½ dozen gay porn movies from 1995 to 1996 for KingFlame Entertainment. Of course, he along with Interscope Records denied it; yet, the rumor (for a while) just wouldn't die. However, with time and a great PR agent, the rumors did go away. But, it did bring up a big question. Can a man have a gay friend without being gay too? Can he?
In the case of rapper 50 Cents, the Lloyd Banks situation made him look suspect, but, somehow, his large biceps, gangster ways and sex appeal saved him. Nobody could believe he could be gay, especially women. But then, the rumors continued on. They were dogging him like an IRS agent on an tax-evading, rich star.
Rappers Fat Joe and the Game have hurled accusations about 50 Cents' sexuality. They both say that 50 Cents, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are having sex together. To make matters worse, a reoccurring character on the cartoon "Boondocks" seems to be based on this star. A rapper who looks a lot like 50 Cents is gay, but afraid to come out because of his music career. It all makes you wonder what the people in Hollywood know that the regular Joe on the street doesn't. It's all fishy.
THE WOMEN
The women in 50 Cents' life range from sex symbols like Vivica Fox to around the way chicks like his baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins. The only thing they all have in common is that they can't seem to keep rapper 50 Cents happy. After a brief time of dating, he breaks off the relationship with all his gals. He pushes them aside for the next pretty face. Considering the diversity of women he's dated, it makes you wonder why he just can't settle down with one. Could it be that they just aren't his type or even sex?
Going with a variety of women in an effort to find one that will squelch a thirst for the same sex is a common characteristic of gay men and gay women. Even in 2008, there is still stigma surrounding sexuality. As a result, people don't want to be gay. They don't want to be part of the minority that enjoys the company of the same sex for fear of family retribution and even spiritual retribution. Yet, it is a feeling that they can't get away from. This situation might be what rapper 50 Cents is dealing with right now. And he wouldn't be alone. A lot of masculine men in the spotlight have been gay and hidden it like actor Rock Hudson and football player Esera Tualolo. It isn't uncommon.
THE TRUTH
The truth is that no one really knows if rapper 50 Cents is gay. All we really know is that it is an accusation that keeps popping up. Maybe in a few years, after he's retired and doesn't care about the music game, he and Lloyd Banks can come out as a couple. Even if people get upset, it'll probably be a relief for 50 Cents. Until then, the whispers will continue on and we'll wonder if all of those fur coasts that 50 Cents wears are because of his hood upbringing or gay sense of style. It'll just be a mystery.

Post a CommentYeah he be the gayest haha bet hes thinking of my ass right now haha
Also, it's "queer as a 3 dollar bill". "Gay as a 2-Dollar bill" doesn't make a bit of sense since the US uses a $2 bill as a form of currency. JEEZH get some of your facts, and metaphors, together before writing an article.
Also, don't use the words "gay", "queer", "homo", etc. in a negative context, please. It only shows your lack of sophistication and your discriminatory mentality. Thanks!
well i have gay friends both male and female and i dont think that there is nothing wrong wit someone being gay its wat that person likes and if he is gay thats his bizzness not ours he is human just like we are and its not for us to judge him thats up to god. and far as fat joe and the rest of the rappers u shouldnt judge anyone cause you wouldnt watn any one to judge you......
I'm not even a fan of 50 Cent at all, and in fact I almost never listen to him, but this article is unprofessionally written and unfounded; also, the man's name is 50 CENT. good god, if you're going to libel someone, at least get their name right. since does when a rich and famous music star dating lots of women make him gay? i'm pretty sure that's about as straight as you can get. as for fat joe and the rest, calling someone gay is a common insult in rap music. 50 cent did it to ja rule years ago, and you haven't written an article about ja yet. also, I think straight men can obviously have gay friends without it "rubbing off" and making them gay as well...that's like saying having black friends will make your skin look darker.
oh and since when is a 2-dollar bill gay?
tool.
Damn i didnt mean to spell all the words wrong i meant to say truth and hope
I REALLY DONT THINK HE IS GAY BUT IT COULD BE A SHOCKING THRUTH BEHIND EVERYTHING BUT I HOP 50 CENTS OR NEITHER LLOYD BANKS IS GAY
50 cents?? cent. cent.
Of course, rappers who are ultra masculine-violent; like men in the army or forces; tend to have homosexual tendencies. The book: "An Essential Guide for Serious Singers and Musicians" Goes into detail of image and the music industry. Amazon.co.uk A lot of male bands are homosexuals, but it is sales and the slick talking of their PR that convinces us that we are looking at 'real men'
It is nothing special the rumours as most people in the rap world use homophobia to cover their own homosexuality. www.borntosingmusic.com
