Is My Spouse Cheating? 4 Ways to Tell

If you suspect any dirty play behind your back first accept the dreadful possibility that your husband or wife may be cheating on you. Once you have mentally prepared yourself with this possibility, check to see if your spouse is exhibiting the following:

1. Change of appearance. Is your spouse suddenly caring more about their appearance than they used to? Are they working out more, eating healthier, and trying to lose weight? Are they updating their style and spending more time in front of the mirror? Sometimes people do try to change to feel better about themselves and not because they are cheating. However, if your spouse is suddenly doing this without ever talking about this over with you and especially doing these things behind your back, then be cautious.

2. Change of routine. Is your spouse staying later at work? Do they always seem to be held in meetings when you try to call them? If they are staying later at work or claim they are in a meeting, then call their office to see if they are there or try to show up at their workplace without letting them know to see if they are there. Also notice if they make sudden plans to go out without telling you or if they are on the computer more often rather than spending time with you.

3. Change of behavior. Have they stopped showing affection? Have your conversations become shorter and less intimate? Do they pick fights more often and get angry easier? If so, they are most likely trying to distance themselves from you and it makes them feel better about being unfaithful. Are they being more secretive when you ask where they are going or what they are looking up on the internet? If they are suddenly hiding things from you and not wanting to share details about where they went or where they are going? This is a definite sign of a cheating spouse because unless there is a holiday or anniversary coming up, there should be no reason to hide anything from each other.

4. Suspicious actions. Check their cell phone call history and text messages once in a while. That is a sure way to tell if anything is going on, especially if they are getting many calls and/or texts from someone you do not know. Also check the history on their computer. If any of these have been erased then that should raise a red flag. Most people do no just erase calls, emails, or their history on the computer unless they are hiding something and does not want anyone to see it. Also check their credit card bills for any suspicious places or gifts they have spent their money on.
