Is it Time for New York to Leave Hollywood?

The Reality TV Star of I Love New York 1 and 2 Tiffany Pollard Tries Acting

Zach
Certainly not new to VH1, a woman named Tiffany Pollard has ventured to a place called Hollywood in the hopes to become an accomplished actor. Most people, however, would not recognize Tiffany Pollard if you asked them for a face to the name because she has taken on a moniker given to her by rapper Flavor Flav who has also had several reality TV shows. Instead she has become well known as "New York." Thirty minutes every week since the seventh of August we have seen her literally fail at acting but don't get me wrong the show is entertaining albeit crazy. Unfortunately for her she hasn't got a paying job yet, well if you don't count the paycheck she gets from VH1 for her own show.

"New York" started her reality TV show career with a dating show but eventually earned her own time slot with another dating reality show called "I Love New York" and a follow up show "I Love New York 2". The guy she fell in love with on the second show was nicknamed "Tailor Made". The two, however, have since broken up with rumors flying around about someone cheating around but that is a whole different subject.

Has the charm of this woman finally hit the bottom of the pit? TV viewer ratings would suggest not. Rounding in at almost 1.7 million viewers' average for each thirty minute episode I can assuredly say people cannot get enough of this crazy diva. Viewers will continue to switch on the tube to see whether or not her dream of becoming an actor will become a reality (no pun intended) or if she will continue the path she is on and wreck anything that comes near her. Maybe with her new assistant's professional view on things coupled with experience Tiffany might just make it after all, but I'm not holding my breath. Being a reality TV star seems to come with a certain stigma that halts your entertainment industry career to a full blown stop. Most have been stars are now at the end of their careers, taking any job they can to stay in the spotlight and on your TV screens which 99% of the time means getting a reality show.

But as for "New York Goes To Hollywood" I will certainly continue to tune in every week to watch what crazy situations this prima donna gets herself into.
