Is the Walmart Photo CD Manager Way Too Complicated for Simple Internet Computer Users?

Phillip W. Chambley
Walmart continously updates their photo CD software program every 6 months and no one can keep up with the changes? Once you finally figure out their photo CD manager software program, they ironically change it again. The general manager of these Walmart stores have NO idea about what's going on?

If you talk to the person in charge of the photo/computer department, "they look at you like you are crazy?" Apparently, these people do NOT understand the meaning of a software computer program, although they are selling this Photo CD program and computers to all Walmart customers. These people need more training, especially the general manager of these particular Walmart stores.

This Walmart CD photo manager software program seems to change every (6) six months for consumers or customers? Trying to edit or change your photo's is a joke. This original program was not too bad given the fact that you could make changes on your photos, such as editing the size, color, red-eyes or anything you wanted to make without any complications, but changed over the years.

The Kodak photo CD program was "actually better" in the beginning as publicized in the Publix Stores in the year 2000, but became too expensive for customers like me whom used a disposable camera for all events because my digital camera was broke at the time, and eventually converted over to Walmart's CD photo processing because they were cheaper at the the time.

The new December 2008 version of Walmart's CD photo manager program is so complicated that you have to constantly update the newer version constantly and try to figure out which one is best. Contacting customer service seems to be a problem also. They also seem to be trying to figure the problem also, but yet sell you something else of their products at the same time.

The NEW version of Walmart's photo CD manager is just trying to get you buy more pictures via email and credit card? There should be a very simple explanation of how to edit your present photos once you place the CD in your computer? "In other words, where do I go from here?" Please explain?" No one seems to know?" The CD takes you to where you should buy more internet pictures from their website.

Unfortunately, there is NO explanation. Customer service via email or by phone just simply tries to guide you to buy more of their Walmart photo products with their customer service products? And who knows where this will lead you too?

As an online expert of surveys and other internet FREE adventures, I would personally stay away from companies that ask you for your credit card number or any personal information. A lot of these companies have what they call Third party companies which can charge you a monthly fee without your consent.

In the beginning, Walmart had a great idea regarding their photo Cd software program, but seems to lose it in the end, because they are more "money greedy" and less customer care, I think I will go back to Kodak.
