Is Wendy Williams a Man?

Talk Show Host's Physical Appearance Leads Some to Ask the Sensitive Question

Scott Allan
Is Wendy Williams a man? The question may be considered rude or politically incorrect, but it's also a question many reasonable people have asked after watching The Wendy Williams Show on daytime television.

Given that drag queen RuPaul once hosted a similar talk show, it is not at all out of the question that Wendy Williams could be a man in drag or might have been born a man.

This article answers the burning question: Is Wendy Williams a man?

Is Wendy Williams a man: Why people aren't sure

The first time I saw the Wendy Williams talk show, after realizing how tall Wendy was and noticing her mannerisms and her unusually flamboyant wig, I admit I wondered if Wendy might be a man in drag. Then I moved on and didn't think much of it. Until a relative walked in the room and said, "That's a man, right?"

Another relative agreed. "It looks like a man to me!," she chimed in.

Since reasonable people have genuine questions about the issue, it's worth addressing. The question may offend some, but those who have seen pictures of Wendy Williams or watched her talk show can understand the uncertainty.

To quote Austin Powers, "You have to admit... she is rather mannish!"

Is Wendy Williams a man: The facts

Wendy Williams is, in fact, a woman. She has been married to Kevin Hunter since 1999 and has a son, Kevin Jr. Before his birth, Williams endured multiple miscarriages, a topic she has discussed openly on her talk show. Williams heard from other women who've suffered miscarriages, and their feedback inspired Williams to continue being open and honest about her personal life.

The question won't go away, though. R&B singer Chris Brown caused a stir earlier this year when he suggested via his Twitter page that Williams might be a man.

Williams responded to the accusation on her talk show with an insult of Brown: "If I was a man, I would spend time bullying other men, perhaps, and not other women."

Is Wendy Williams a man: Summary

So, talk show host Wendy Williams is not a man; she is, and has always been, a woman. You would think it might be a nightmare for her to have to deal with this politically incorrect question, but she's actually been known to jokingly refer to herself as a drag queen.

Good for her for having a sense of humor about the issue.

It's not my business either but I think Wendy Williams is a man. He/She had a change over. I love what GOD made me and quite satisfied. Yes, He/She is making big bucks but I really think my instincts are right that He/She is a man. Not all men have big hands. Where are her younger pictures, friends growing up, etc.

WENDY WILLIAMS, in my opinion, IS A "MAN"

I persoanlly and professionally have worked with men, women, transgender, hermaphrodite, etc. I will admit that Mrs. Williams has strong features, which some may consider to be masculine in nature. She doesn't appear to have man hands or feet. In fact, hers are very much like my own. The reality is that this could be a result of genetics or the particulars of her hormonal balance. The hair is a cultural thing. Although not all may understand it, black people, including myself, do wear the hair weave. She has admitted to wearing the weave, and I think it looks great on her. I know many tall women who were born women who have similar physical attributes to Mrs. Williams. Her gait does not appear to be masculine. Men have to work extra hard to appear to have a feminine gait, because that has to do with our biological development. The long and short of it is that she identifies as a woman. Regardless of her past. Whatever it may be. Let's not get caught up on what could have been and accept her for who she is right now. She has not done anything to lose my respect.

    Does it really matter?

Just because Williams has a kid doesn't mean #$%$ could have been adopted. Is there any pregnant pictures of Williams preferably in a bikini so it could easily be verified.
