Islamic Terrorism Has Everything to Do with Islam, but Not with the Muslims

Jesus Saves
Bhumika Ghimire, in her article Islamic Terrorism Has Nothing to Do with Islam makes some points that shed light on the ignorance of most of the West. No, I'm not supporting her article one iota. And for good reasons. Here in the West we've pushed God out of the picture to such an extent that we don't realize how even human religion works anymore. Maybe some research and fact based points will show what a stupid mistake we might be making by under-estimating the threat of Islamic terrorism. However, I believe at this moment we have bigger threats than terrorism to worry about too.

To compare and show why Islamic terrorism has everything to do with Islam, I'll compare it to one of the dirtiest stains on Christian history - that of the antisemitism and the Crusades. It is easy in first glance to say that terrorism and the anti-semitic/crusading "Christians" have everything in common and that they are essentially the same. However, this is simple not true!

The Christians in the crusades (if they really were Christians), were taught by the Pope at that time that they would go to heaven if they killed the Jews (who the papacy claimed had killed Jesus), and took back the holy land from the Muslims. Everyone was up in arms and all set to go to heaven. However, this has little to do with the Bible. There is no biblical basis for this whatsoever, and is just another instance of the papacy blaspheming God through its actions and spreading lies in Jesus' name. On the other hand, the Islamic Jihad and terror warfare IS in the Quran. If you study the Quran, it is written in the format where the "newer" and later revelation trumps the older one. The Quran gives clear directions to Muslims to kill the pagans (this would include everyone other than Jews, Christians and Muslims) after giving them one chance to convert at the most. If they refuse to convert at the edge of the sword, the must be destroyed. If this is not violent and terror based, then I don't know what is.

The Quran gives reasons to the Muslims to dislike the Jews. The problem is the fact that of the chosen Messiah, the prophets coming out of the Jews, and that Jews and Muslims don't agree over many of the basic parts of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. The Islamic Isa (Jesus) is supposed to come back at the end of time to kill the pigs and break the crosses. For anyone who tries to understand these terms, it's clear that it refers to the destruction of Jews and Christians. The basic clause of Islam, based in the Quran, is that you must either convert or be destroyed. That's it. And this isn't me speaking, this is all in the Quran. I've debated many Muslims over the validity of the Bible and the Quran. I was told once that if I was still an atheist, they would have had to kill me. Then I was told - you moved from atheist to Christianity - that's good, maybe someday you'll get some sense and become a Muslim. Trust me, it wasn't a friendly suggestion.

Now does this make me anti-Muslim? No. Does it make me anti-Islam? Yes. Most of the Muslims are not terrorists and I understand that. Most of them do desire peace, and I understand that too. I have nothing against these people. However, when someone comes along and says that Islamic terrorism is not a threat to anyone, or that it has nothing to do with Islam, it just indicates their lack of research and understanding. Just because most of the Muslims are against terrorism and Jihad (and it's questionable whether most of them are against it or not), it does not mean that it is not a part of their religion. It very much is. Muslims who are not seeking to convert or kill non-Muslims, are not considered in line with the Koranic teachings by much of the Muslim population.

The problem is not with the Muslims, but with the Quran itself. Before you tell me that I'm becoming offensive, please understand that I am NOT bashing Muslims, I'm just explaining what the Quran says. And if it's okay for people to say what they want about the Bible and Christians, this shouldn't be a problem either (this is not a revenge tactic or something like that though).

However, we need to keep things in perspective. The terrorist machine that is fueled by Islam was built by none other than the U.S. Of A. Taliban, Saddam, Pakistan's funding, Osama's training, it was all done by the US. In fact, there is enough evidence that suggests that it wasn't terrorists at all who crashed the planes into the WTC. I suggest we start looking for analyzing the truth behind the terror monster that the US government has created, There just might be something far more shocking and sinister lurking back there.

And just to clarify the point again - it's not that Muslims are messed up. It's the fact that if you started following the Quran exactly as it says, you couldn't avoid being labeled a terrorist today. Sorry, but that's the sad reality. I've met Muslims who don't want anything to do with violence. These same Muslims, however, were accused by some others of not being true followers of Mohammed's teachings. As such, I'll hold firmly to the point that it's the Koranic teachings that we need to be wary of.

Umm....not much to say here. Just read the stuff I write for some accurate information.  View profile

It's a stupid and ignorant mistake to think that Islamic terrorism doesn't pose a threat today. At the same time there are bigger things to worry about than the terrorist monster that the US has created.

Islam is a false religion. "Abraham had Ishmael through Sarah’s Egyptian maid Hagar, not
his wife. Isaac is Abraham's true son, the one the Lord God said would bring about the
blessing God promised." Twice in Genesis 22 God tells Abraham that Isaac is “your son,
your only son” (Gen. 22:2,16). God knew that Abraham had two sons at the time, but He
reminded Abraham that Isaac, as far as The Promise was concerned, was his only son.

Muslims claim their lineage through Ishmael, who is cursed by God "
“He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man,
And every man’s hand against him,
And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren” (Gen. 16:12).

    Further
Twelve times in Scripture God refers to Himself as “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” – never “the God of Ishmael.” Two hundred and three times God is called “the God of Israel” – never “the God of Ishmael.” The nation of Israel is mentioned 2,565 times in

I believe in the quran. Every word of it. So I guess I am a terrorist. If you came to me with agression then indeed I would terrorise you. It is a right that has been given to me and all muslims by Allah himself. You have posted a well written argument but you fail in everything besides your eloquence. You don't mention the books of hadith (other than the coming of Jesus). You choose to explain only versus that would be considered inflammatory without the whole context. Also when muslims conquer a land the disbelievers don't have only 2 choices (convert or die). They have 3 choices: convert, pay the tax (which is less than what muslims pay as mandatory charity by the way) which in turn gives them equal protection under the government as muslims (so basicly they are citizens), or DIE! (Hahaha. Exaggerated to mock you). Stop lying or concealing the truth on the true and right religion of Allah, and what is more reched thab one who commits a lie against Allah? Desist at once.

Finally someone who's actually done his research. Yes, just like any other religion, Islam has its non-violent and violent extremists, but the basic instruction of the Qur'an certainly has an intolerant and violent attitude towards infidels. Check Sura 4:56, 9:123, and 9:73, Yes, modern day Islam has a very large non-violent element, but these are those muslims who realize that diplomacy, rather than violence, is the better form of evangelization in the modern world. The threat of retaliation, after all, is a big deterrent . . .

I only had to read the first page of your article to know that have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about: the qur'an doe not instruct Muslims to go oput and kill all pagans, only those who were continually attacking them in violation of established treaties. remember that it was the pagans who began attacking the Prophet as soon as he began preaching Islam, openly.
In addition, your disclaimer "if they really were christians" when referring to the crusaders is the typical response by christians when another christian commits an atrocity. But when a Muslim comits a similar crime, he is muslim. Moreover, his religion is emphasized as though it is an inextricable part of the crime. So please don't pretend that you have studied the qur'an or Islamic history when it is clear from your writing that you have not.

    Three Things About Islam

A group calling themselves "White Roses" created a video to inform non-Muslims about Islam.
The name of this video is Three Things About Islam

THIS was e=mailed to me. Is it real or a hoax?

You don't understand the Qur'an at all, which makes you just as ignorant as the so-called Muslims who commit terrorist acts. The Bible specifically states that Israelis bashed the heads of babies into rocks. Jesus said he did not come for peace but to spread the sword. Does this make Christianity a violent religion? No! It just means you can take anything out of context in order to justify bad behavior. The verses in the Qur'an about killing the "infidels" is historical and based on special permission from Allah for Muslims to DEFEND themselves only when they are oppressed to the point where they are starving and therefore dying, and even then there are certain specific conditions that must be met. Suicide bombing and terrorist acts are NOT sanctioned under the Qur'an and any misguided Muslim who commits these atrocities is putting him or herself at risk of an eternity of Hellfire.

Muslims do believe that Christianity and Judaism will be destroyed, by Jesus near the Day of Judgment not by Muslim hands, and Allah is just the term in an attempt to describe God, not his real name, after all we humans do not have the slightest clue on what God is or his goals. Also if what you say is true (which is not) children where killed and no matter what faith their parents may be it is still a sin to kill innocents which include children in particular and there is no excuse. Also stop using Algebra which Muslims contribute a lot to.

Lets us try to understand carefully what The Quran says. REAL Muslims only lead their life based on what The Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah tells them. So, don't just judge based on certain "followers" that did bad things. It's not fair. Bad people are just bad people; it's not about their religions and beliefs. Lets read and try to understand clearly the true Quran to judge Islam. Be open and fair.

Not true in the case of Islam, dear Theresa. If one is to follow the Quran literally, there is no room for terrorism as long as the Quran is read and understood as a whole, not in parts.

Indeed, how can anyone misunderstood these injunctions -

"There is no compulsion in matters of religion "

"Your duty is only to convey the message. Will you then compel people to believe ?"

"Let him who want to believe, believe, and let him who do not believe, reject it."

"Call with wisdom and beautiful preachings and argue in ways with are best."

"God does not forbid you from dealing justly with those who fought not against you or drive you from your homes; for God loves those who are just."

The author of this article obviously never read the Quran - otherwise she would have come across these beautiful verses and many more like them which teach Muslims to be tolerant, respectful and fair in our dealings with non-Muslims.

Indeed, the whole argument of this article are so easil

i bet u nvr read the Koran, and what u said is just baseless, the Moslem never kill harmless people or community as long as they did not start the fight first, Moslem people defend themselves when they're attacked. If you read the Koran you will understand, but if you r still reading the Old testament or new testament, you will go astray, if you can get your hands on the original one of bible( the truly, truly, truly original one, if there's anymore in this world which i think, secretly kept from spreading), u will know
