This is a rather ingenious adaption of a previously available PC game for the Facebook gaming community. Big Fish has really hit a jackpot on this one. While the graphics are nowhere near as good as the PC version, the game play more than makes up for the graphical loss.

Basically, you are in charge of a "tribe" of people stranded on a deserted island. You decide which people will breed, which will gather stone, wood, or research new sciences. You decide who will be construction workers and who will farm. And you must micromanage the daily things like food supplies and clothing.

This is a nice cross between The Sims, Warcraft, and Civilization. During the process of building your society, researching new clothing, farm techniques, and other scientific delights, you must figure out the Mysterious island artifacts, Plant farm plots, fish, gather wood, stone, sea shells, stork feathers (for creating additional children), and bird Guano. There is a set of timers that will drop stardust, moondust, and wash crates ashore that you can get additional items, even rare silks, seeds, and gems.

The stardust is great for advancing your tribesmen in the endeavor to level, the moon dust is great to reduce the age of adults, advance the age of children (who cannot work till they are 14), and decrease the build time on most construction projects. Hint: 1 moon dust will instantly complete any hut!

A nice addition to this version is the ability to make dyes and to use gems on clothing to make your "tribesmen" better at their jobs.

All together this game is a must play for anyone involved in the Facebook games community. There is never a moment where there is just nothing to do. You will instantly realize that sea shells, stardust, moondust, and crates are always popping up. Then there are the artifacts that wash ashore during rain storms. And if all else fails you are going to want to figure out those island mysteries. The first day I played I had to force myself to goto sleep and the next day my brother and I went out and bought the PC version of this game. Awesome adaption Big Fish!

Overall 5 stars

Sound 4 stars

Video 4 stars ( not really bad for a flash game)

Gameplay 6 (this is, in my opinion, the one single game to play on Facebook)

I was once like you. I never thought i would be a facebook gamer, but some of the games they have are really simple and yet fun to play. Nothing as good as WOW but still they can really get addicting
