iSplash Rugged Review

The iSplash rugged is great if you like listening to your ipod around water. First off, let me begin saying that I bought the iSplash rugged about a year or so ago. I am really impressed with the sound. Before I was using a really small radio with an ipod hookup that didn't have the best sound. The small radio I was using before also didn't charge my ipod while playing it like the iSplash does. What I really like about the iSplash is that it protects your ipod inside of it. So if your at the beach, or around a hazardous area, then your ipod will be protected.

I also like the iSplash because it can also play the radio. It also has 4 different sound settings. If your playing your ipod you can also easily skip to the next track or turn it up or down by using the controls outside of the unit. So you don't have to keep opening it up and messing with your ipod. All you have to do is plug it in, select a playlist, and you're done. However, I think the biggest downfall of the iSplash, is the size of it. I find it to be rather big and bulky, which is ideal if you're near water, or painting, or in a situation that you wouldn't want your ipod out in the open.

Also, there is a place where you can put batteries in, that is completely covered, so if you're around water it won't get ruined. The legs on it are fully adjustable too, meaning you can set it just how you want it. And since it charges your ipod while it plays it, there is no need to worry about your ipod losing power and turning off. Hooking your ipod up to it is really easy too. You can even store your ipod case and headphones inside it if you want. Also, when you buy it, you don't even have to put it together. All you have to do is plug it in, and plug your ipod into it, and turn them both on and hit play.

If you visit the beach a lot, or the pool, or just want your ipod protected, then the Isplash rugged is definitely what you want. However, if you just want something to play your ipod, then I suggest a small radio, or you would just use up space with it.
