IStudiez Pro

As far as apps go on the iPhone/iPod there are some pretty revelutionary ideas about especially now that we have multi-touch and accelerometers. There aren't many decent apps around for students to easily keep track and manage their school and college work. Now that the iPhone/iPod is used widely by students it's about time we had an app that does everything.

As a student in the UK I also need an English version that doesn't word everything in US terms like semester and lecutres. To be honest there are other alternatives out there to iStudiez Pro but I've found it's definately easiest to use and understand. Plus, it has all the features I could ever need includig adding homework, teachers and classes with a user freindly interface that is intuitive to use and has a snappy feel to it.

For £1.79 it's a real bargin as well and although there is a free version available as a matter of principle I always like to reward developers for their hard work especially when it's this good!!

When you first load iStudiez Pro it's probably best to add a new year (I've called mine Year 12). Then, after that just add your subjects. It dead simple and you can add multiple classes in each subject as well. You can even colour each course in so that they are easily recognisable on your calendar.

Now, when you're actually at school it's just a case of adding homework as you get it. You can set reminders on each peice of homework or just check it on a night. There's multiple ways to view the homework (eg. by due date, by course).

As far as good apps go, this one ticks all he boxes for me.
