It Belongs to Him
Someone who gives from the heart
God doesn't want us to ignore our bills
He just asks that we do our part
Giving a part of all that we have
And giving a part of all that we make
Makes for many more blessings
Of which we can all partake
Sometimes our household expenses
Can threaten to swallow us up
Along with credit and gas cards
Yeah, we all drink from that same cup!
Some of us need to take a second look
At where all our money goes
So many things we think we've got to have
Like those name brand shoes and clothes
Are things, we could save some money on
To make sure, we have enough to give
To God, and other people in need
Of food and medicine, just to live
God says he'll take care of all of our needs
And if we 'll give, all that we can
He'll make sure we get some of what we want
That's all a part of his plan.

To hell with the haters, Nancie! Truth is, we own NOTHING!!! It is all on loan to us from God, and some cannot handle the Truth! Childish is right, especially when it comes from those who claim to be so much more mature than those of us who believe in "fairy tales".
