IT BURN MY BUTT !!

I do not know what has happened with today's generation, where the respect has gone, if it is the parents and the way they are raising their children, TV and the shows that are on, MTV and the music videos that are our, Hollywood and the movies that come into our homes on DVD.... But something drastic has happened !!!!

Before I get into my story I will say one thing, in my younger years, when I was in the service, I received training that has made me, lets say not so nice, if I get angered over something.... I control it very well, and try to let anything anger me to the point I use what I know, but I will protect my family, the weak and someone in need... That is all I will say on that matter and let you all fill in the blanks.....

I was at our local grocery store, the famous one I have been sending out the bulletins about the idiot manager... Well it has gas pumps out front, that give you 3 cents off per gallon if you purchase a gas card inside the store while you are shopping. Not a bad deal especially with the cost of gas these days.

I pull up to the pumps waiting my turn, and having my window down as I don't use the air, trying to conserve as much gas as possible. I notice in the next pump over from me that there is an older man in his late 70's maybe early 80's ~ with a cane and the shakes, filling his car up....

Now behind him comes pulling up the 20's something punk, with his big tire red-neck pick up truck with the rebel flag, who gets out of his truck and shouts, "Hey you senile old bastard you wanna hurry it up".......

Now upon hearing this, this is one of those occasions that I can not control my anger.... I promptly jump out of my car and say to the young punk "Hey I have some gray hair on my chin and head, you feel like talking to me that way", which the punk decides to respond with "Who the F___ are you" to which I say "Your worst nightmare".....

Now with most of today's generation, this young man with out knowing any of my background, proceeds to reach into his pocket and head in my direction... To his surprise he finds that I do a sweep kick and take his legs out from under him, and he finds himself promptly on the ground on his back with my right foot in his throat....

With tears in his eyes he tries to choke out that he is going to call the police, which I promptly whip out my cell phone and hold it to his ear, I explain to him the law, that what I did is called self defense, as he approached me first, and if I would be charged with anything it would be a misdemeanor with a $250.00 fine..... Now on the other hand what he did to the elderly man, was Terroristic threats to a senior citizen which is a felony 2^nd degree and could also carry a hate crime charge which would also have 3-7 years in a state penitentiary in which he would become someone's wife.....

I told this young man who now had tears streaming down his face, he had 2 options, he could call the police and we could both face what they had to say about our actions, or I could let him up, he could get into his red-neck mobile and drive away and if I ever saw him harassing another senior citizen again I would not be as pleasant as I was being today.....

He chose option number 2, and got up, got in his truck and left most quickly !!

I went over to the older man and told him to get into his car, that I would finish filling up his vehicle, which I did, then I filled up mine and I never saw the police show up at all.....

Like I said earlier, I have a good control over my anger, and I will not let much set me off, in fact I let a lot of things go over my shoulders and blow past. BUT I will not let people, young punks, abuse the elderly, men abuse women or children, or people harm my family !!!

We NEED to get a grip on this generation ~ I am but one and I am 47 years old ~ so I will not be able to do this kind of thing too much longer ~

This generation is out of control and has NO RESPECT and we need to get it back and IT REALLY BURNS MY BUTT when I see and hear things like this happen in today's world.....

That old man filling up his car at the pump with the cane and the shakes could have been in WWII or Korea or Vietnam and fought for some of the Freedoms that the young punk who harassed him has !!!
