It Came Upon a MIdnight Clear

I ntelligent design created by God

T rusting Jesus the road he trod.

C reated for us to find our way

A miracle still to us today.

M y life would be empty of all hope,

E ven for one day how would I cope?

U nderstanding love and empathy,

P oured out upon you and me.

O nly Jesus born to show us the way

N ight of hope was born to stay.

A ngels announced His birth.

M ade us see that we have worth.

I nnocent we were of what He gave.

D eath would have to come to Him.

N ight of sadness shadows of grief,

I cy pain soon would find relief.

G od spared us from eternal death,

H e gave to us forever breath.

T hank you Jesus for loving you and me.

C hrist He will always be.

L ove so pure has made us free.

E vil has lost its bitter sting.

A llegiance to Jesus our king.

R oyal savior our majesty.
