It Comes in Threes

Well that's probably true,

because lately,

We have been in debt up to our knees.

They say it comes in threes.

First it began with a minor collision..

It wasn't even our fault,

Some lady pulled out and hit our car,

Guess maybe she couldn't see because of the trees.

----

After the collision, it seemed like none was fair.

The cost of the car repairs made us want to pull out our hair.

Of course, once the other insurance bids came in,

It wasn't even enough to cover everything...

Not even a new car!

There goes another rip and tear.

They say it comes in threes,

A little while later,

our family kitty became ill

There was no way, that I would just let him be.

An infection made him sick

He had to get a surgery, as the clock was saying, "tick, tick."

Again, more money spent, but yet, it was for a good cause.

Once again, the bad luck, there just wasn't any button that said "PAUSE."

They said it comes in threes...

Lord, I sure think we have been given enough.

We pray every night, and love you with all of our heart...

Is there any way that we could just have SOME good luck...?
