It is Coming and You Can Stop It!

It's Coming and We Have the Power to Stop It!

Well, last night at church we were told that ( I am not exactly sure where here in the USA I believe) they are talking about forbidding Christians to hold Bible studies in their own home because some neighbors do not like that.

It really hit me and a weird nervousness settled into my heart..like when something bad is about to happen and you do not know what to do.

I was thinking about that. If we will be forbidden to have Bible Studies in our homes, does that mean that other people will be forbidden to talk about something they like to talk about ( like the weather?). Because if people who love God get together and talk about or share on a topic of their interest, then we should be forbidding everyone to meet because what is the difference talking about the Bible or the weather? See, the way I look at it is t hat believers in Jesus are just like-minded people that share a common interest. If that is forbidden, then they should forbid moms getting together talking about their children. If a group cannot share about a common interest in their OWN home, then maybe other groups should not share about a topic of interest either because if our freedom is taken away to share what we like to talk about, then be fair and take away other's people freedom to share what they like to talk about. That would be the fair thing to do,right?

I do not believe that is America. You know I moved here due to marriage which now has fallen apart. My fellow Romanians and not just them , but other people from different countries want to come here because America is different. People believe this is the LAND OF OPPORTUNITY, where everyone is treated with dignity.

In my country there is so much racism and no one does anything about it. My dad is Hungarian and my mom is Gypsy. I was constantly mocked as a child because of that by different people. I was spit upon, mocked because of my skin color, beaut up by boys and the boys constantly would pinch parts of me I did not want touched just out of the blue on the street or the train.

I came to America and for the first time I felt free that I can walk down to the bank or the store and no one would pinch me, yell about my skin color, or make me feel inferior. I felt valued here ..in general. I was allowed to be accepted and be me more by the citizens of this country maybe than my own family members.

To be honest, I am not all for America accomodating everyone. You cannot run a country while trying to please everyone...it will end up in shambles. But, the core values of America which are really from the Bible: respect towards another human being, acceptance due to their skin color( you know if you know a little Biology you know people have no choice in choosing their skin color; it is their DNA; some of us maybe would have chosen a different color, but we are stuck with what we got; I personally am content; God created me this way and I think I should thank Him, not complain and be mistreated), no favoritism, and everyone has the SAME chance are what America was built on. That is America for me. That is America for someone who wasn't born here.

To take away the right to talk with other believers about Jesus in my own home is America becoming less of who she really is.

That is why people come here. They come because they are made to feel human beings for the first time. That is what I love about this country.

So, my prayer is that America stays America and quit trying to change in order to accomodate everyone. Foreigners are attracted to America because she is ORIGINAL. If that changes based on everyone else's suggestion, then it is not America anymore, but a mix of I do not even know what anymore.

So, America, please stay America! We love you for what you are NOT trying to become!

We love you even more for the roots you came from.

Do not crush our hope of those of us who came here and will have to realize that you are no different than the rest of the world. The world looks at America and copies America because of the originality of this country which sadly is fading away. I personally, do not want you to make this country a different one. I do not want America to become like Romania. I love Romania, but then I can just go back and live there. I want America to stay and be America. Be different in good America! Be the original as the forefathers of this country started you to be! Be like Jesus!

And I am not even trying to be patriotic....I never been patriotic even in my own country...

The persecuted church is (unfortunately) alive and well - even in America. It doesn't surprise me in the least that people are trying to put an end to the Christ-centered communities around the globe and yes, even in homes. Sadly so, cheers
