It Cosmetics Presents "Bye Bye Pores" Pore Minimizing Powder

Tired of Large Pores and Fine Lines? Turn to it Cosmetics and Say "Bye Bye Pores!"

L. Lee Scott
Are you bothered by large pores? If you've tried cleansers and exfoliants, and they've cleaned out your pores, but they still look large? One thing that might help, if you take it long enough, is flaxseed oil. But if you want flawless skin with minimal pores, and you want it right now, turn to It Cosmetics.

The company worked with plastic surgeons and uses the latest development in skin care to create a wonderful pore refining powder, called Bye Bye Pores. It includes all the best anti-oxidants for your skin, like Vitamins A, C, E, and K, along with hydro-collagen and silk, in a formula to get beneath that top layer and actually help your skin help itself. Bye Bye Pores is a light talc free powder that can give your face an air-brushed look. What it doesn't contain are parabens or a fragrance, either of which can harm both neutral or sensitive skin. It Cosmetics's Bye Bye Pores is presented in the Winter-Spring 2011 issue of New Beauty (p.101) as one of six of the best pore minimizers on the market for do-it-yourselfers. This mention, to the cynics, is one of over 200 in the last year in magazines or on television, praised as one of the best new products. (See some of its awards here .) The It Cosmetics line is only 2 years old, so it has come a long way in a short time.

Bye Bye Pores is an "HD" (high definition) translucent powder, best applied with the wonderful Heavenly Luxe brush (see it here ), a big all-over brush that is unbelievably soft - it feels like a soft fur coat. This brush lets you apply a light coat all over your face. Because of that "HD" effect and the lack of talc, this product doesn't settle into wrinkles or lines, making you look older, like so many powders do. This blurs the look of those flaws, giving your skin an air-brushed, beautiful look. If you don't wear make-up, but you want your skin to look a little better, a little brighter, and a little less flawed, this is a perfect product for you. If you do wear make-up, you don't need to worry about adding another layer; this goes on feeling cool, because of the hydrolyzed collagen and silk, and will light up your face without adding weight.

The Bye Bye Pores retails by itself for $24. At QVC you can buy it with the brush, which is not available as of January 2011, but will soon be available for $48. The powder and brush together currently sell for $38.18 on QVC, so if you want the brush (and if you feel it, you'll want it), you're saving a lot by buying them together.

Any anti aging product that is proven is great in my book. Sounds like a great product.

While that is generally true, Carol, especially in drugstore powders, it is definitely NOT true for Bye Bye Pores, because of the hyrdolyzed collagen and silk. I saw this applied to a 60+ model, and she looked much older before the application of the powder than she did after. This powder is a real GIFT to older women, because it blurs flaws and makes older skin look YOUNGER.

powder makes you look older so people in their 50's and older stay away from powder
