It Gets Better...Really. (video)

Homosexuality issues are one thing I don't often touch on when it comes to my life on-line. Mainly because I tend to not know how to approach the issue but I knew I had to start somewhere when it came to talking about LGBTQ issues when I heard about these most recent suicides in the news.

I know this post isn't going to be as informative as many other of my posts on Associated Content have been, but more of a way to let people who are either openly Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans gender or questioning or still in the closet that it's OK. Life may be incredibly difficult right now, but it gets better. Trust me. If there is bullying or some sort of abuse going on, try and get help. There are local LGBTQ groups all over the country and many hot lines and online resources available for you to talk to someone and get advice. One resource I have come to love is the Trevor Project and it is a well known reputable source. There is also the "It get's better project" that has recently started up and if you want to help kids deal with their sexuality, this is the place to go.

On youtube there are several people that are helping the LGBTQ community in an incredible way. I will link a few youtube channel's that you can check out and hear other people's stories as well. Youtube is a great community to share thoughts, ideas and advice with other people.

Don't get discouraged. Things will get better, weather it be 5 years or 50 years.
