It is Over

I am somebody with fear of what people think of. I have worked with a greedy manager as an Information Technologist for 3 years and some fractions. During these periods, I felt so bad in mind and even in my appearance. It was a period of deep sorrows and humiliation suffered in the hands of the wicked mind who always take delight in staving people with little or no help.

My own case is quit similar. The dubious young man that employed me promised heaven and earth to me just to help him train people on Information Technology. Of course he knew I have the keys but his self centered attitude has always killed him.

On the interview that qualified me a staff and a tutor with the Computer College in 2005, 4 out of 10 scholars that applied passed and 3 of the four qualified staff had dropped the work in year 2006 except me. Not because I am poor and I am insisting to work for daily bread. Besides, not because I am not rich in quality after all I was the overall best tutor of the year 2006. In the same year, I was able to train students numbering 230 excluding those who left for advance studies abroad through the International Visa Lottery form.

I was encouraged to keep the train moving just to help stand the firm which would have collapsed even before April 2006 when all the tutors left the school. I have the passion to give maximum attention to students whom have been frequently convinced ONLY on our local TV and radio stations to join FREE of charge. I have always care and love the preys (students) held as captives by the greedy manager just because that is the type of person I have always being.

My worries are so numerous that I could explain only a little. Salaries are very poor even when I am the only staff left with large number of students (of about 245 from July 2006 till date) from and outside the state (Imo). Besides, he pays when you may no longer have anything to do with the money by that I mean paying very late closer to the period for the subsequent month's salary.

Sponsors have so much donated immensely. The last donation to him was made in August 22nd 2008 by one of the prominent politician in the eastern Nigeria, but the predator (Manager) has many concubines to spend the money with yet has neither vehicle nor house as someone who should have these assets.

I am tied of his 'wahala' and will always see myself as a free person. One thing about me is that I am known to my students and people around me whom I have influenced in one way or the other. I see my potentials and know how to use it unlike before now. Because of the plight I had, I decided organizing private computer lessons, creating designs, banners, animations, and lots more for institutions and people to make little money from it. At least I know I have made money worth more than what he pays.

I still come to his school anytime I feel like coming. He did rather use students as helpers to new ones and the fact remain that he still want to tie me down with promises by sponsors. I cannot be intimidated any more! I have planned to share my proposals to the government officials to see if the would help sponsor me instead. At least that is one good thing I learned from the manager. One good thing I planned was to tell the media and the government to be aware of this fraudster who pulls wools over peoples eyes. But in my self I know I will live by the truth.

To all who in one way or the other been deceived by such people, I urge you to have faith that one day, you will have a reasons to smile. But the wicked will have their worries come back to them. I love you.
