It Pays to Pray

Growing up in God forever and ever only been living for the Lord a short time . We all growing are in grace not grease mind you . We all need to be baptized in "Jesus" name . We all need to be rapture ready cause the time is at hand , his coming is at the door way .We all assume we have all this time to get up our gear up sorta speak , we all believe that there's no need to be in a hurry , we all probably think that there's nothing more to be done except just believe and then sit and wait for him to come and rescue us all from all the bad things in this life. We should all know that if we don't believe and pray and read the whole bible it's like leaving out an important part of a recipe. Acts 2:38 , says we must repent and be baptized in "Jesus" name for the remissions of our sins and shall receive the gift of the holy ghost . Well I thought that praying a little bit here and there was enough , but there's no such thing as praying too much and that could never be so true as what happened with close neighbor of ours and us , withing 15 feet of distance lives of "3" and "5 " total if our neighbors had been home , individual lives would have been over with , gone forever , last night / early this morning and or within moments our home and lives could have been ended as well. God came along and woke us up though , my husband and I heard foot steps that sounded light a tire rolling over our porch and knocking like someone knocking on our door but when we ask distant neighbors of this knocking and or walking onto our porch the only response we got was the only time any one came to the door was after we had opened it and had already called "911" I firmly believe that the Lord called to us , to let us know that our neighbors home was smoldering and then all of a sudden the Lord lead me to the kitchen window and when I looked through the curtains there i saw a bright light and wondered what for few seconds what it was and then it hit me it was a blazzing fire of what seems to be some kinda faulty wiring of such , but whatever the reason , God could've come along and put out this fire and I know this but then what would that have taught me , that I could just sit back and or go back to bed and just do absolutely nothing and then what expect God to say or go OK , you don't want to be obedient , you don't want to listen and I will just put out this fire for you and of course he could and or would but without obedience there's no discipline of not only praying now or then , but always , when prayer is made whether it be in good times or bad God hears , heals and or helps and comes running and rescuing he faithful believers , or followers ,fast when I am obedient and pray .When I show my faithfulness by praying when things are good for me then when things are bad God is obedient and comes quickly to my rescue . He is my strong hold in good times and bad no matter what comes my way .Those that remain are faithful and remain of which of course means stays , abide , dwells in the book of first Thessalonian 4:15, he is faithful and just to receive, Psalms 31:23 , the Lord preserved the faithful and plentiful ,also these following scriptures are good for reading and they are :Psalms 101:6 , Psalms 28:20 and Second Thessalonian 3:3 . We / I must continue in the faithfulness and he will keep me . I can or could never thank the good Lord above for his great mercy and or grace on me mercy - compassion, kindness pity and and reading in first Chronicles16:34 it's another great scripture that goes along with this as well and speaks of his mercy on those that follow him and the grace is also of favor , love and compassion as well.I feel like God has his merciful hands on my family and this I just felt the need to share my story with someone and hope that they would be touched or will be blessed as I have been . The Lord is my refuge of which I have need of in good times and especially bad and in second Samuel 2:23 , there's some good reading along with Psalms 62:7 and Psalms 62;8 and I could go on and on I believe with these scriptures the Lord has given me but I just wanted someone to be touched or blessed they way that the Lord has touched and blessed and kept me for all these years , May God touch and bless someone and keep us all under his wings !!!!
