Conferences are increasingly the lifeblood of the Information Technology universe. This is how we stay up to speed with the world around us and how. Twitter and Facebook are great tools, but sharing a cocktail and a story on the inside is, well, worth a thousand pictures. What better place to share these than in Philadelphia, which just happens to have been selected as the home to a major Information Technology Conference and Expo, the "IT Roadmap Conference and Expo." The Conference, presented by Network World, a well-known and well-respected technology magazine and Web site, will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on July 14 2010.

Where & When

This will be a "one-day only" event lasting from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm EST. This annual event, which is held in different major cities every year, so far has been held in Los Angles, New York, Chicago and others this year, roaming from city to city as if they were on a rock concert tour schedule. The IT tour will arrive in Boston on the May 25 2010 and Atlanta on June 6 2010 and then they will come on in to Philadelphia in July. This high level and strategic conference will show the road forward for IT over the next year. Anyone in business should be booking their tickets now as you will be behind the "virtual 8-ball" as the new world of technology emerges.

Why Information Technology?

Information Technology and the Internet are no longer just indispensable for business, they are how business gets done; no matter what you do for a living, technology is involved somehow. Should you spend money on the next Microsoft Exchange upgrade or go to the Cloud for your company's email services? Google Apps for Domain anyone? What about Virtualization? Is it the answer to your cost issues? Let us not even bring up the Convergence and Mobile developments right now because they can offer opportunities galore.

All of these subjects are on the main agenda of the Expo, and you may have a chance to get a front seat. There are still opportunities to jump on the bandwagon with your company flag. With sponsorship opportunities available at the Underwriter, Platinum and Gold levels, they all get you prime billing for your company as well as plenty of exposure at the event itself.

Extra Goodies & Seats

The other goodies available is a free ITunes pass. The way it works is if you and at least three (3) co-workers from your company sign up for the Expo, all of you will receive a gift card for 10 free iTunes downloads. That is a nice looking icing on the IT Expo cake. The real meat of the event is the hardcore information and insight as to the road forward for technology in Philadelphia, not to mention the World. Oh, and you will have lots of opportunity to network with your fellow Philly professionals, as well, so why are you not registering yet?
