It Seems like Yesterday
When I close my eyes I am brought to a place
where I am still thirteen looking at your face.
You were always so happy and so full of glee
and you made everyone else happy, especially me.
Such a beautiful person, so pure from within
the world losing you is nothing short of a sin.
And even though all of these years have gone by
It is all too often I must sit down and cry.
It seems like yesterday you were with me my friend
Who knew yesterday was really the end?
