Many studies have been done in other countries on the usage of microwave ovens. Studies from the Swiss, Russians and Germans all show scientific proof that using a microwave can and will cause health problems. Continually eating food prepared in a microwave can cause long term and permanent brain damage by shorting out electrical impulses in the brain. This is depolarizing or demagnetizing the brain tissue. The human body cannot metabolize or break down the unknown by-products created in microwaved food.
Studies also showed that male and female hormone production is shut down or altered by continually consuming food prepared in a microwave. This could add to the incredible amount of infertility that we see in this country. The effects of microwaved food by products is residual. That basically means long term and permanent damage within the human body. Minerals and vitamins as well as all of the nutrients the body needs to thrive is reduced when heated in a microwave. Thus, the body receives little or no benefit from the food.
Another thing that can happen is that the body absorbs the altered compounds and they cannot be broken down. Some people heat their canned vegetables in the microwave. This is not a good habit either. The minerals in vegetables are altered into cancerous free radicals when they are heated in a microwave. Another shocking find was that microwaved foods cause stomach and intestinal cancerous growths or tumors. This might just explain the high rate of colon cancer in America in recent years. That rate grows each year as well. The prolonged eating of microwaved foods can also cause cancerous cells to increase in human blood. This could be why any type of cancer is on the up rise as well. The immune system is affected also. Studies have also shown that memory loss and lack of concentration, as well as emotional issues are caused by microwaves. Maybe this is why so many children suffer from ADHD or autism as well, since there is no definitive answers as to why these problems are around in such a magnitude in recent years.
The microwave over became popular in the 1970's. They were discovered by accident by Percy Spencer when he was building magnetrons for radar sets. The first food to be deliberately cooked in a microwave was popcorn and the second food was an egg. On October 8, 1945, the company, Raytheon, filed a patent for the microwave cooking process and in 1947, the company built the first microwave called the Radarange. It was six feet tall and weighed about 750 pounds. It was water cooled and consumed 3000 watts of power. That is three times the power that is used in today's version of the microwave.
Many people that have gone natural or organic have realized long ago that the use of microwaves were an unhealthy practice. Also, the people that try to live a "green" life and that are trying to save the planet also concur with these studies. It is scary to think that many people not only heat many of their meals in a microwave oven but they also heat baby's bottles in there as well. Heating a bottle of formula or breastmilk just kills all the nutrients that the baby requires to thrive in life. That isn't giving that infant a good start in life at all. When breastmilk is heated in a microwave, it kills all the immunities and nutrients. What is the point of breastfeeding then?
