Italian Restaurants in San Jose

I have visited San Jose numerous times throughout my life, and I have enjoyed many exceptional dinners during my visits. I have compiled a list of my favorite Italian restaurants in San Jose, and I truly recommend these restaurants to anyone looking for great food coupled with great service.

71 Saint Peter

71 Saint Peter is a hidden gem in the heart of downtown San Jose. This restaurant has a warm and comfortable atmosphere that will make anyone feel welcome. This Italian restaurant is located in a small space, and they provide both inside and outside dining. All of their staff members are true professionals, who take their jobs very seriously, providing excellent service to their customers. 71 Saint Peter's uses only the freshest ingredients, produce, meat, fish, poultry, etc. when preparing their dishes. You can definitely taste the quality and freshness when eating their food. They offer a variety of dishes ranging from spaghetti, lasagna, seafood linguine, and tomato bruschetta. Their prices are pretty reasonable with dishes costing anywhere from 17-30 dollars. If you are looking for pleasurable evening on the town in San Jose, I definitely recommend dining at 71 Saint Peter!

The Old Spaghetti Factory

The Old Spaghetti Factory in San Jose has been around for a long time, and it is not hard to see why. When you first walk in you will see that the restaurant is filled and decorated with antiques and other decorative items that have been collected from all over the world. The Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant is very family-friendly and has a very entertaining and upbeat atmosphere. They have banquet and private rooms that can be reserved for larger parties, these rooms can accommodate up to 75 or more people. This is a great place to celebrate special occasions, host events, and/or just to have a nice sit-down meal. They have a huge selection of Italian dishes on their menu, and even their kid-menu has a wide variety of options. Some of their most popular items are the baked lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, and of course their spaghetti. They use the finest ingredients to make their food, and you can definitely taste the difference. Their meals are also accompanied by salad, bread, and ice cream. The entrees are reasonable priced with their meals ranging from 15-30 dollars. If you are looking for good food, great service, and a unique experience, I would recommend eating at The Old Spaghetti Factory in San Jose!

Cuccini Restaurant & Bar

This Italian restaurant is located in downtown San Jose. Cuccini's is housed in a huge location consisting of a large outdoor dining area with a hookah lounge and cabana bar, and also there is a huge indoor dining room. The atmosphere associated with this restaurant is that of fun and entertainment. Cuccini's is great for fine dining, romantic, as well as group dining. They have numerous drink and food specials going on throughout the week. Cuccini's has great pizza, pasta, sandwiches, as well as various other dishes. The food in this Italian restaurant is priced a little high with entrées ranging from 20-30 dollars. IF you are looking for a fun experience along with good food then Cuccinis is a definite must in San Jose.

Bella Mia

Bella Mia is a very beautiful restaurant. When you step in the door you will notice the numerous black and white photos of San Jose decorating the walls. The staff of Bella Mia is very friendly and fast, and will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this Italian restaurant to couples looking to have a romantic dinner or lunch, this restaurant is not very family-friendly. The atmosphere here is very warm and relaxing. They have great food of high quality with a majority of their items being made from scratch, with various food items such as lobster, steak, pasta, and fish. They also have a huge selection of wines. Bella Mia can be quite loud at times, but this only adds to the experience. The costs of their entrees are quite reasonable with the prices ranging from 15-30 dollars. Bella Mia is a pretty famous Italian restaurant in San Jose and it is easy to see why.

Pizz'a Chicago

Pizz'a Chicago is a very fun place to have lunch or dinner. The atmosphere at this Italian restaurant is filled with fun and enjoyment. The staff is very easy to get along with and makes all of they definitely do their best to make their customers happy. They are definitely fast when it comes to making and serving their food. This restaurant is very family-friendly. They specialize in pizza, but they also have other items such as Chicago-style hot dogs, calzones, and sandwiches, among others. The food is not cheaply made, and it is of high quality. The prices of their entrees are very reasonable with none of their items costing more than 20 dollars. Great food combined with fast service makes Pizz'a Chicago a great place to have dinner and/or lunch!

Togo's

Togo's is a great place to have lunch or dinner. The atmosphere at this Italian restaurant is filled with excitement. The staff is very easy to get along with and makes all of they definitely do their best to make their customers happy. At Togo's you can either dine-in or carry-out. It is easy to see why this restaurant has been around for a long time, and has opened numerous locations throughout the city and state. They are definitely fast when it comes to making and serving their food. This restaurant is very family and kid-friendly. They have a variety of options when it comes to their menu; they have sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. This is an excellent place to eat and not spend a lot of money, but even though the food is cheap it is still made with high quality products. The prices of their entrees are very reasonable with none of their items costing more than 20 dollars. Cheap eats and fast service makes Togo's a superb place to take a friend, family, or just yourself when looking for somewhere to eat!

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is located in downtown San Jose. If you are looking for a first-rate Italian dining experience, Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is your place. Their atmosphere is cozy, warm, and comfortable. They have a dimly lit dining room, and it is beautifully decorated making this a definitely upscale restaurant. Their service is fast, friendly, and upbeat. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience; also they have private dining rooms that can be reserved for large groups. All of their food is made from fresh ingredients, and when eating the food you can taste that freshness. They have a wide selection of entrees and wines with their most popular entrees being wood-fired pizza, gold-skinned chicken, homemade pastas among other traditional Italian dishes. The costs associated with dining at this Italian restaurant is a quite high compared to other Italian restaurants located in San Jose with their entrees ranging anywhere from 20-40 dollars. I would recommend Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana to anyone visiting or living San Jose if they are looking for excellent Italian food.

La Pastaia

La Pastaia is one of the best Italian restaurants in San Jose. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very festive, and you feel as if you are walking straight into a restaurant in Italy. The dishes that they serve at La Pastaia are very authentic and you can tell when preparing the food that they only want the best for their customers. They use high quality and fresh ingredients, meats, pastas, seafood, etc. You will feel very comfortable and relaxed once you sit down at the table. La Pastaia has a stylish dining room, as well as gourmet items on their menu to go along with it. The must haves on their menu include: lasagna al forno, pizza, spaghetti, manicotti, steak, deserts, and superb wines. I would not recommend this restaurant families, but more for couples looking to have a romantic dinner and/or lunch. The cost of their food is quite reasonable compared to other Italian restaurants in San Jose. The entrees range from 18-30 dollars. This Italian restaurant is definitely one of the best in San Jose.
