If you want to beat the rush with a trip to Europe and avoid all the tourist the best time to plan a trip to Europe would be in August or as soon as the teenagers get out of school for the summer. The worse time to go to Europe is in June and July since these are the most popular time of the year for tourist to visit. The doors to every local facility will be open and the country will be crowded with tourist and this is probably something that you will want to avoid unless you like being in crowded situations and waiting in line forever for a table at a local diner.
When planning your trip to Europe you are also going to want to know some of the best places to go and visit while on vacation. If you like history then you are going to want to visit Meteora Greece since it gives a part of the history behind Europe and it is also not one of the most favorite spots for tourist and yet it is still beautiful. Close by is Mesovo which is a little community that has several woodcarvers and many sell woodcarving items for the tourist. The best time to go would be from spring to early fall since this is less likely a time that tourist will be hovering over the place.
In Central Crete there is a destination spot that you might want to visit on the Island of Crete. There is a spot that allows you to take a walk and along the trail is two caves that you can visit which is a perfect spot to take your teenagers and get out for a stretch and adventure.
These trips can be planned out for a week, two weeks, or for a full month. If you are planning to take a trip to Europe for a week, make sure that you plan out your trip that will allow you to visit all the great spots for that one week only and set a schedule but don't overdo yourself.
A two week trip to Europe will be more exciting since you will be able to visit more spots that are interesting to you and your family. When planning a two week trip you set up a schedule the same way that you would a one week schedule.
A month trip to Europe can be a lot more exciting since you will be able to plan out your family vacation so that you will be able to visit more spots. If you are going on a one month vacation to Europe you will want to plan out your vacation for three weeks and leave the last week open so that you can visit spots that you didn't know about until you reach Europe and you will also probably want to relax the last week of vacation and let the family do their shopping and gather souvenirs.
