The best cities in Italy
Rome is one of the main cities to brag about in Italy. Rome is actually one of the hottest tourist cities since it has places such as the fountains, midevil churches, and many other great spots to take your family for vacation in Italy.
Venice is a city that is built on water. Many people go there just to try and figure out how an entire city could be built on water instead of land. Venice has many churches and monuments that you don't want to miss out on.
Turin is another city that brings a lot of attraction to Italy. Turin was actually the place that held the 2006 Winter Olympics. Turin also has many historic café's and other great spots to check out.
Milan is the place to go if you like the more modern look of Italy. Milan is also a great place to shop for souvenirs or clothing. Milan is more like a city in the United States but with many tourist attraction sites for you and your family to visit while on vacation in Italy.
Planning a one week vacation in Italy
If all you have is a week to vacation in Italy I would suggest that you pick out the most important spots that you and your family will want to visit and put together a schedule that everyone in your family can stick too. Without the proper planning your vacation could end up with everyone frustrated at one another. You are also going to want to plan in a few days when you first get there and before you leave to just sit back and relax.
Planning a ten day vacation in Italy
If you are off to Italy for a ten day vacation you will have a little more leverage to play with and so you are going to want to also plan out this vacation to get the most out of it. If you will be traveling with teenagers you will want to plan for them to have some time by themselves also but remember that even teenagers can get lost so keep a close eye on them but keep your distance.
Planning a two week vacation in Italy
A two week vacation in Italy can be planned by allowing one week for enjoying all the tourist spots and another week to do stuff that is off schedule. There will also be a few days in there where you and your family are going to want to kick back and relax. A two week vacation in Italy can be more enjoyed than just a week since you will be able to plan more out and have time to visit more places.
Another thing that you might want to do is make sure that everyone has some type of communication and a map just in case someone gets lost. Everyone should also have a paper with the name of the hotel and address written in Italian and know where the police station is in Italy just in the event that someone gets lost.
