It's {All} → Not About Me!

I didn't care for the songs we sang in church today,
And I didn't like the fact that it took us so long to pray.
The sermon wasn't about a topic that really spoke to me,
And I guess you could say the worship here just isn't my thing.

Wait. We're talking about worship here -
Not about my personal sphere.
'Cause it's not about me!
It's about the God of eternity.
It's about praying to Him, giving Him the glory.
It's about praising Him for His wonderful story.
It's taking the Lord's Supper, and remembering what He's done.
It's not about me - it's about the Holy One!

I loved the songs we sang in the service today,
And the prayers were said my favorite way.
The message was good - it was on "Love, Not Hate",
And I guess you could say I thought the worship was just great!

Wait. We're talking about worship here -

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to worship the King.
I mean, I may not have enjoyed the way people did every single thing.
But I know that it's not about what I'm thinking -
It's about giving Him my everything.
Yes, it's about giving Him....my everything!
