It’s Burning Up … Because These 10 WTA Players Are Absolute Hotties!

Eric Williams

In today's changing times on the women's WTA Tour, a lot of critics like to say that the women's game is built more on fluff and glamour than the actual substance of multiple, legitimate grand slam title contenders.

They say the WTA Tour hypes its more attractive players in much of their advertising, mostly because they lack players capable of taking out the tour's small handful of legit slam contenders.

Having said that, I'm also a guy - and I'll be the first to admit that I think the WTA Tour is smart for advertising their 'model-like' beauties, particularly if it draws more interest in the game and propels more young girls to start playing the sport.

I mean, let's be honest, in today's modernized times, sex sells and at least I can say, the WTA has been classy in promoting their runway stars, even if they missed out on a couple of 'under the radar' knockouts that make my list of top 10 WTA Tour Hotties..

In reverse order, here are my top 10 WTA 'runway' knockouts.

10. Ana Ivanovic

To put it mildly, the Serbian-born beauty is a 6-foot knockout - and golfer Adam Scott is one lucky guy! I'll be the first to admit that I'm not particularly fond of Ivanovic either, so that's saying something.

9. Venus Williams

The American-born Venus Williams is an absolute treasure with an elegance that you rarely see in women these days! Maybe it's me, but I swear the 31-year-old, seven-time grand slam winner possesses an air of royalty or something.

8. Maria Kirilenko

The 24-year-old sister of Russian-born NBA superstar Andrei 'AK 47' Kirilenko may still be known for her great looks more than being a legitimate grand slam title contender, but hey that's okay, not everyone can win a grand slam winner. Besides, Kirilenko's got a future in modeling if she ever wants one.

7. Tamira Paszek

You may not know the 20-year-old Austrian-born Paszek just yet, but give it time. The 41st-ranked player in the world is a knockout too, even if she doesn't have the big off court photo spreads to go along with her good looks just yet.

6. Maria Sharapova

The 24-year-old Russian-born Sharapova is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women on the face of the planet, not just the WTA Tour. Tell me, why can't I be Sasha Vujacic, just for a day!

5. Vera Zvonareva

The 27-year-old Zvonareva is a flat-out Russian blonde bombshell who recently appeared in this year's ESPN 'Body' issue and boy, what a body the Russian beauty possesses. However, the veteran WTO player is just as gorgeous, if not more so, from the neck up, with absolutely beautiful eyes that would have made 'Ol Blue Eyes' himself blush.

4. Alona Bondarenko

The gorgeous 27-year-old Alona Bondarenko's beauty is rivaled by few women anywhere. Saying Ukrainian-born Bondarenko is easy on the eyes, just doesn't do her justice. She a bonafide blonde bombshell!

3. Dominika Cibulkova

If you don't know now, then you should know. The 22-year-old Slovakian is an absolute knockout that could easily pass for a runway model. After reaching a career-high No. 17 in October, the path to even more fortune and fame looks clear for the 5-3-inch dynamo with centerfold beauty.

2. Caroline Wozniacki

The 21-year-old Danish beauty and World No. 1 is generally featured as the WTA Tour's leading lady, though her critics continually bash her for not winning a slam yet. I had a really, really hard time not picking the drop-dead gorgeous Wozniacki for my top spot just so you know readers.

1. Serena Williams

I thought long and hard about dropping the 30-year-old Williams to No. 2 or even No. 3 behind Wozniacki or Cibulkova - but then I started looking at pictures of Williams on the Internet and I suddenly remembered that I was in madly love, wishing I was 25-years-old again, rich and single.

Then reality hit me and reminded me that I'm none of the above.

Still, Serena Williams is the hottest female player on the WTA Tour and now, I'm going to go take a cold shower!

An article pretending to speak about the hotties in the WTA, putting Serena N1 and ommiting Mandy Minella... is just a disgrace!
Time is precious, dont make me lose mine anymore!

I'm surprised you omitted Cirstea and Radwanska.
