Recently, I had the opportunity to try this lotion. What did I think?
PROS
This tanning lotion includes not one, but 50 (yes 50) times ultra dark bronzers. The bronzers are very visible and show not only prior to tanning, but much more so afterwards.
This lotion includes a variety of compounds that work together to create a skin firming complex. These fortified ingredients are coenzyme a, coenzyme q, l-carnitine and caffeine.
Bronzers have their strengths and weaknesses in tanning products, but when it comes to It's Complicated, it definitely has its strengths. The bronzers included in this tanning product are not only effective, but stain-free too.
This tanning lotion is actually very hydrating overall. Your skin remains nourished and revitalized throughout your entire tanning session. The effectiveness of this tanning lotion product is fantastic and is very fast acting compared to a lot of tanning lotions.
It has a Hawaiian Citrus type of smell, almost like a blend of tropical fruits with a hint of orange.
CONS
Although the scent of this lotion is on a Hawaiian wavelength because it has an array of fragrances inspired by tropical climates, there is a chemical or synthetic smell that I pick up when I use this product. It smells a little "funky" prior to tanning and more prevalent after tanning. I tried not to let this bother me, but it really did. You may find it to be a good smell, but I don't at all. The smell was really the only weakness. This is the reason I will never use this tanning lotion product again.
If you have sensitive skin, it is important to stay away from tinglers and sizzlers. This lotion has a "hot tingle action" that makes it a tingler by default. Do not use this tanning lotion if you have sensitive skin or you prefer not to use any type of tingler tanning lotion.
RATING - 79 %
You can buy this lotion at your nearest tanning salon or at any Pro Tan retailer. Prices vary upon size. The retail price for this tanning lotion is usually about $15 for a full size, but depending on where you purchase it, you can actually buy it for cheaper. Would I purchase this tanning lotion again? In actuality, as much as I would like to say yes, I do not think I would. Would I recommend this tanning lotion to a friend? I would recommend it to anyone who is able to actually smell the product first. I usually never have any issues with any tanning lotions by Pro Tan, but for some reason this tanning lotion was just not one of my favorites based on the fragrance alone. As they say "different strokes for different folks."
