pounded by your swells,
no sorries or oh wells,
hurt me,
embrace me
bind me to my family,
meet my girl
she's new to the world,
But she'll love you like her folks...
island girl at heart it's in her blood,
and that just ain't no joke
no sorries or oh wells,
hurt me,
embrace me
bind me to my family,
meet my girl
she's new to the world,
But she'll love you like her folks...
island girl at heart it's in her blood,
and that just ain't no joke

Post a Commenti'm guessing it's probably just me, i didn't exactly understand it until i read some of the comments, and then it made more sense to me. sometimes i have a harder time figuring out more interpretive poetry because i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve in so much of my own work. good job though.
