It's High Time: Where Has the Americanism Gone?

It high time we found some love for our country, just a modicum of patriotism, a spot of respect for our flag, instead of wondering what the country can do for you, maybe it's time to think what the country has done for you, and what you can do for the country.

Our country is in dire straights and everybody thinks that it's all up to the government to fix it, I'm here to tell you, if you keep depending on them, your going to wake up one morning wondering what happened to the country that you love.

If for some reason you don't think that this country has done a lot for you, and it's your time to return the favor, maybe you should think again, do you have the freedom to come and go as you please, are your phone calls monitored, or can you expect privacy.

The United States is the only the only country that you can expect these things just because your a citizen of the country, it's your fault that the politicians are running rampant, if somebody gave you cart-Blanche to do as you please, with no oversight, you might go overboard to.

It's easy to say that it could never happen to you, you really can't say that until you have the power that some of them have been given, corruption is a hard monster to control, it can get it's teeth in to the best of us, and usually does when people are greedy.

Si it's time to be concerned about the things that are going on in your country if you care at all, look at the borders between our country and Mexico, they pour in here by the droves, they rob and kill people , and then just return to their country like nothing happened.

Yet nobody seems to want to do a thing about it, the police won't do anything because they might hurt some criminal's feelings, and being a illegal immigrant does make you a criminal, and the government won't do anything because they don't care.

They seem to like handing out billions of dollars a year to illegal immigrants, but why should they care if you don't care, if the people were to stand up for this country, if the people were to all at once tell the politicians that they have to help our country, maybe they would.

Right now we don't tell them to do anything, so why shouldn't they do as they please, our country gets a little more beat down every day, and that people in it just seem to say, it's not bothering me yet, why should I do anything about it.

That's only the ones who are wise enough to know what's happening, we have a president who obviously has no idea of what he's supposed to do, we have a whole congress of yes men to cater to his every whim, and you don't see why it's up to you.

A president used to be held to a certain standard, but no longer is that the truth, when the people of the country have no standards, how can you expect their elected officials to have any standards, it's as much your fault as it is theirs.

It's time to do something to help your country, it's as simple as getting a group of people together who believe in the United States, and it's constitution, people who care about what happens to their country, people who are not to lazy to help their country.

We need to quit letting them rum rampant and killing our country, we need to find that American spirit again, have respect for our troops, rather you agree with what their doing or not, they represent our country, and in the end they will keep us free.

I'm an American to the core through and through, I love our country and you should to, if you do learn about the things that are happening so you can be a part of the solution, rather the part of the problem, come to the aid of your country, and take control of it back.
