It's Home, You See

nutuba
A dew drop glistens on a web
As sunlight strikes refreshingly;
The spider scurries to and fro;
His home is this fine web, you see.

A red tailed hawk soars high above
In search of food, most anxiously.
The smog and yellow rain are bad --
His home is in the sky, you see.

A white tail deer deep in the trees
Looks in my eyes most pleadingly.
The gentle forest, shrinking so,
His home is in these woods, you see.

My kids are young and love to play
Outside, while laughing joyfully.
I fear the clover and the grass
Will disappear. It's home, you see.
