It's Not Fun to Be Old

Whoever said it's great to be old

Is peddling you a lot of fools gold.

With an aching back

And a bulging disk.

Being old and gray

Is not very hip.

My joints are stiff.

My knees are shot.

And I'm getting flashes

That are continually hot.

I take colored pills,

At last count were four.

My eyesight is failing.

I can't see clearly anymore.

Bingo may be all of the rage,

But as for me, I hate old age.
