This overused cliche,
is always use as a way,
to excuse the inexcusable,
of giving something not useful.
II
This will not fly.
except for the Most High,
ordinary human beings,
needs useful things.
III
In this season of giving,
do give something,
that the receiver will cherish,
not something flashy but useless.
IV
Never pick up a present,
in the spur of the moment,
then, thoughtlessly snap it up,
and have it gift-wrapped.
V
Careful selection,
Paying attention,
Either put some thoughts into your gifts,
or just don't give gifts, at all!
